I have a question:
I've heard that the ERJs don't quite live up to what was promised (e.g. IIRC the ERJ 145XR was designed to fly ~1,600 miles but in reality only goes ~1,400). Is this true - and if so - what has been the reaction from Embrear (sp?) and CO?

I have never heard that. I know that there were some weight issues w/ ER aircraft, but that is all.
But would you really want to be on an ERJ for that additional 200 miles?
