Now off to spend 90 minutes on a riveting conference call.

See y'all later (practising my Texan accent for when I move to Texas ......)

Good morning box. Wish I had enough stamina to finish the driveway yesterday 'cause I now have apparently permanent ice.

Thanks for making me feel old....
Any time If you'd like, I can talk about Sudden Sam McDowell next.

Euclid Beach looms large in the memories of my parents and their friends who grew up in Cleveland.

This is the UA-ization of fares. B is no longer the least expensive refundable fare on many routes. (There's not much point in buying a B fare BWI-CLE now.)

The thing is, a lot of people NEVER learn this lesson.

In other news, got a new battery for my Netbook. Currently seeing battery life times of 8 to 11 hours in the battery moniter box. Will be interesting to see how long those last!

Just sent the ceremony checklist in to our officiant. This whole "I'm getting married" thing is somewhat starting to sink in.

Hyatt haz had this program for a while. eUpgrades aren't guaranteed unless room type is available at check-in. If it isn't, you get your originally booked room and are not charged the upgrade fee. It's a good way for non-Diamonds (or diamonds without confirmed upgrades left) to get a good shot at Junior Suites and Suites, often for a significant discount over the BAR.

I believe today is the first winter WX CXL that I've ever experienced connecting IAH. I'm rebooked on UA COS-DEN-EWR.
