Not surprising one bit. As a younger 1K who will have traveled a boatload of miles by year end (on my company's dime of course) on the gammut of airlines and alliances, the worst treatment I get (not on DL or a Skyteam carrier) is being talked down to by 1 and 2p's.
Most of the time I keep cool, but I've run into some real d0uches at IAD who needed their pedestal kicked out from underneath them.

Wanted to thank all of the Box'ers who sent in nice notes about the SMDII charter. It was great enough of an experience finding note after note in my file, fowarded over from corporate - but it was an even bigger treat to checkin for my trip on Saturday and be sent to my supervisor's office. Why? He congratulated me on all the good compliments and awarded me a special service pin to be worn on my uniform, and also 2 fee-waived passes for F/BF. Ms. LukeSkywaiter is appreciative as well, for the latter...

Dear Box - Will my upgrade ever clear the waitlist?
Waitlisted EWR-DEL for the 16th about 3 months back. Not cleared till now.
Now, my favorite seat (8D) is gone.
Well we will see how it goes. I will be happy as long as it clears. I hate waiting so long for an upgrade to clear.
