I graduated from one of the top design schools in New York, where I had my fair share of art history.
When I went to Paris for the first time, I actually spent a Sunday afternoon on the island of La Grande Jatte. That is weird.
I am looking at my reservation at https://www.flyopenskies.com/os/manage and there I am in seat 9A.
Are they doubling up people in these seats?
This should be interesting...
...and by the way, the last time we met was in Ljubljana, Slovenia for the second installment of the Who Will Be The Next FlyerTalk Member To Post? An OMNI Game gathering.
I will bet you did not think I would remember you, did you?

I figured it would be too much trouble to get go back to the Hilton-Orly on Friday afternoon and then back into Paris again, for dinner. Though, if you can deal without the convenience of a hotel room in the late afternoon on Friday, it probably wouldn't be horrible staying at Hilton-Orly both nights.

Aha, that's how they can justify giving away seats for free.
Seriously, congratulations to all of the winners.
Since the chances of both of us winning were so low, and because we have a meeting in NYC on Friday, and a Tour of Brooklyn on Saturday,
we decided not to sign up, but it sounds like grand fun.
Please share all of the good stories.

I'm already in for the tour on Saturday, and would like to join those who plan to attend the concert there at 8 pm, and have dinner together as well.
For Friday night, I am thinking about doing dinner on my own as I suspect I won't be up for anything particularly social at that point.

Please put me down for the dinners and the Musee D'Orsay tour please.
With so little time I am questioning the wisdom of switching hotels; I am wondering whether just staying at the Hilton Orly on Friday makes sense when I'll be there Saturday anyway? Is the concern that it's hard to reach late at night except by cab?
By the way, seats:
12A outbound
2B inbound

Last train I think is at 11:30PM.
From there you can get comp.Hilton Shuttle available 24 hours. After midnight on request.
12B outbound your neighbour Row 12 is Exit Row.^
2E inbound

I plan to attend. And I think BK is planning to attend as well.
Afterwards we can walk over to the Blvd. St. Germain and there are many small resturants. And enjoy the "Night of Music".
I posted this earlier in the thread. If others are interested.

) after the concert sounds sublime.
If that turns out to be the plan, please count me in!

[edit to add : IMO, I would hate to rush through dinner to make the concert, especially when among so much interesting company.]

Would you guys be up for just scouting out a place based on where our wandering takes us, or do we want to make a reservation and be tied up? I'm thinking it might be better to just take things as they come if we're going to a concert first, no?

Lots of inexpensive but good resturants jot Blvd. St Germain and small streets crossing it.Many set up outdoor tables.
On "Night of Music" the Left Bank is a street party.

Though, I'm not opposed to something more specific, if someone has a local favorite.
