Well we should be good. We're at 13 people confirmed (per the list in post four), and we have a reservation for 12. In the end I'm sure one person will either drop out or otherwise we can accomodate one extra person.

In all honesty, I doubt one over will be a problem.
I guess I will have to used both my French Canadian & my English Canadian charm. Will call him tomorrow from YYZ airport. He comes in at 2:00PM.They had to get him on his cell this morning.

I can ask my friend to call the restaurant, maybe a local can work something out. I will give you all an update if there is time by flight time.

Great. Eva did the booking this morning after it was confirmed Silvan had indeed given me 2 tables on Monday. When I gave Eva my name for confirmation she thought I was South American. That will jog her memory.
I will leave it up to your friend. Parisian do favours for locals North Americans. I told her we were coming from NYC not Toronto.
Thanks.

In case no one is reading the first page any longer, there is now a map with the locations of our various hotels in Paris (excluding the Orly hotels) in the hotel post here.

I changed my mind.

In addition to Calcifer, heffa and Pat89339, I am also staying at the Hilton Paris on Friday night, June 20. I used Hilton HHonors reward points.

I thought about it. With transportation costs and time, the Courtyard was too far and probably not worth the room rate.

I remain at the Hilton Orly on Saturday night.

It would be interesting which works better: French Canadian charm or English Canadian charm ... I lived in YUL for 2 years so my French got a wee bit better but pronounciation went local, and ever since, I've felt like Parisians scoffed at my funny Quebec accent and I started favoring English over French when in Paris. As for charm, I don't have any in any language ...

Bonne chance et au revoir!

Okies, I'm off to bed shortly. I'm up early tomorrow and will hopefully be on the noon TPA-JFK flight on AA. If that flight is late (like it has been a few times this past week), I might be in a bit of trouble.

Can't wait to (hopefully) see everyone tomorrow!

just a note to you folks that havent been to Paris. Set aside some time for YOU. walk around alone, pop into a local pub, have a cafe au lait and a criossant in the morning or somethng to that vein. Trust me you will remember it longer than the mega itinerary, just my 2 cents for the fat tire guy, cruise under the last lap of the tour de France and throw your arms up ^ It's a celebration, not a duck tour of "name your city" have fun Luv giggy

LGA to JFK, anyone making the transfer?

I'll be taking a shuttle ($13) around 1:30pm.

I am making the transfer. LGA-JFK. From YYZ only flights to LGA or EWR on *A

If AC 10:15 flight is on time I will be at LGA around 11:30AM.

I was going to call the car service which my company uses in NYC to pick me up. I thought the shuttle was $35.00, the car service is about $50.00 so for $15.00 I thought it was a better deal.
I am on my way to the airport. If AC flight is on time, I will check status at LGA weather & so forth, may decide on the shuttle.
How reliable is the shuttle?
How often do they go between LGA-JFK?
I rarely do JFK. Last time 5 years ago. Took Car service.
