Unfortunately, no Aussie wine made it back with me. Besides, I knew that Bob only appreciates Washington wines, so no sense wasting money on Aussie ones...

I'm up for whatever, whenever, as long as it fits in my schedule!

sc flyer, you didn't make it there yet?
Or if Bob W, BillScann or AKronin have any other suggestions- I should be off between 7 or 8 PM tomorrow...
If we do decide something tonight I can check FT... if its after 9 AM tomorrow... let me know via the cell
Thanks

I went there last Monday, but I'd be happy to go again on Thurs night. I should be done at work by between 5 and 6pm.
From memory, here's a list of most of the restaurants that I ate at during my trip:
Moose's Tooth
Bear Tooth Grill (lunch)
Downtown Deli (lunch)
Simon & Seafort's
Sacks Cafe
Orso
Crush Wine Bistro (twice!)
Glacier Brewhouse (weekend lunch)
Sourdough Mining Co (lunch)
Ginger
Jens' (lunch)
Kinley's

Only one I would have added is Double Musky in Girdwood, but they are closed currently anyway... so great job!
That- and Club Paris is a good place for a steak or a gourmet burger

I'm free Sunday/Monday/Tuesday evenings...other than that, it'd have to be lunchtime as I'm working Wednesday through Saturday evenings.

is right! Blech! The Barossa Valley shiraz served on BA in F on my return was quite tasty, though...but unlike on the flight out, where my AVOD screen was malfunctioning, I couldn't find any reason for BA to comp me with a bottle of it (ozstamps, Margo and Pooch and I shared a nice Chateau Talbot because of that
).(I'm not haughty enough to actually ask for a bottle of wine, honest...I simply told the FA that the screen was randomly powering off so he could write it up for maintenance, and suddenly the CSD shows up with a bottle...who would I be to refuse?
)

I am scheduled 10:30-7 tomorrow (today) but want some buffer in the event an OT opportunity pops up... and enough time to get cross town... and if I do show early we can get a table - tends to be a bit of a wait some nights-

And I can't really play the sleep-deprivation card, since I spent probably a third of the 51 hours in transit sleeping in a nice, lie-flat F bed...

When one can afford it, yes. In this case, I can't (nevermind that I've used up all vacation good-will from my employer...and they really needed me back!). Besides, I need some spending money for Paris, oui?

Since you're well rested now... can we get an update to the original posting in this thread... a lot has happened while you were out of the country and it seems you've blatantly disregarded the housekeeping you committed to by starting such a thread.
So this is just a friendly reminder to update the first post - thanks jackal

That's it. You're barred from any participation in ANC dos...

Lemme get some sleep and I'll work on it, er, when I can...Lord knows we need a clear directory in the first post, since this thread is becoming quite congested with useless post-padding!
