I think Santa's wish for himself should have been a year without deadbeats ... sorry that doesn't seem to be the case already!!

Even Santa has not received his gifts.... but that has been par every year... two years ago... it took until June to get my gift... and it was delivered in person.

Sorry to everyone who did not get a gift by Christmas.... I tried.

William,
I have not yet received my gift but the season is about giving and not necessarily about receiving. Count me in for next year no matter what.

Thank you for organizing all of this

Other than the person who is refusing to follow through.... I'm willing to cut a lot of slack for late arriving gifts and acknowledgements (and I have a Dec 24th birthday too). I generally have at least one gift get to its recipient late. This year is no exception...definitely not my fault this time, but I will admit to being in previous years preoccupied and procrastinating.

People travel, people have houses full of family, people get sick, stuff comes late in the mail, shippers mess things up...etc.

Apologies!

My apologies to my Secret Santa! I received my wonderful goodie box with an assortment of delightful items, including chocolate scented body cream, mocha liquid hand cleaner, a split of Champagne and a fabulous book on food called the Gluten Free Girl.

I have enjoyed the champagne and the body cream... and will be cracking The Gluten Free Girl this weekend.

Thanks so much Santa! '
Rita

PS, my delay in posting included having had houseguests for 8 days, as well as new (premature) twin granddaughters, Ava and Lily.

Dear Santa,

As you know, the elves (see my profile on the left) have been working extra hard to empty the workshop. It's been busy busy busy. I just want to let our boss know that part 3 will follow in due time (you didn't think I was finished with you).

See you all on Sunday Morning.

The Head Elf.

Ok, now I think that's one very valid excuse for not acknowledging receipt of a gift... you received another gift.

Santa wants to thank each of you for the kind words you have expressed to me over the past few months.

I truly appreciate the thoughts and certainly makes the time and pain involved with this project worth it.

Also, thanks to those of you who want to send me something... not necessary but appreciated.

BTW... Santa is looking at a certain 24" LCD HP Monitor if you are out of ideas....

Seriously, thanks for everyone who had fun with this project... and hope you participate again next year.

William

I agree! Last year I spent 3 weeks trying to figure out how to ship wine internationally. My giftee posted every day or two wondering where his gift was. Finally I gave up on the wine and put together a very nice package of gifts picked specifically based on his interests, clues, and some FT thread sleuthing. I know it was delivered and yet didn't hear a peep or a post. It kind of made me wish I had just sent a $50 amazon gift card.

How is this possible? Did somebody actually tell you this? How cheeky!
