Merry Christmas

Name: Santa
Company: Flyertalk
City: N. Pole

^^^
Gotta love it. I almost did the same as the mail clerk wasn't paying too much attention but I decided to play it safe. You never know when someone is going to point at your parcel and go "SUSPICIOUS!".

Merry Christmas all,
SC

And many thanks to Wharvey!!! ^^^

Just want my secret santa to know that I received the dean and delucca gift card and thank you. I have NOT received my gift from my other secret santa and I won't be home for awhile to acknowledge it when it comes. Thanks though.

I'm only in the first category--neither of my first two recipients have acknowledged their gifts.

I did however receive all three of my gifts, and all were very awesome, and perfect for me.

Apologies to my Secret Santas!

To my FT Secret Santas,

I have to apologize. I forgot that I gave my work address for SS since I tend to be home in spurts and I don't have a doorman, but things were hectic last week and I didn't go into the office at all. Here I am wondering where all of my SS gifts are when they were probably sitting there all along! The office manager emailed me today to let me know I had some packages sitting there, but I am out of town until the weekend.

I very much look forward to picking them up (I'm going to make my cab stop on the way from the airport!) and thanking your properly!!

Happy Holidays!!

Kim

And many thanks to my SS down under in Aotearoa. The calculator will come in very handy, and it's already on my desk. But I really appreciate the ornament; as soon as it was unpacked, I placed it on our tree; altho we have some other ornaments from NZ, this is the first Kiwi Bird. ^ Thanks for your thoughtfulness.

Ho_ho_ho

Fedex came while I was out and I just ripped into my present - also from Santa/Flyer Talk/North Pole - how's the weather there today?
The Vintage Vac is so cool - and I love the fact that if I finish a bottle of wine (moi?), it'll keep the next bottle fresh and tell me the drinking temp!
The Wine Spectator is already on my coffee table waiting to be perused after I finish mulching my yard. (Probably easier than shoveling snow)
Happy New Year!

Thank you to my SS. My gift arrived on time, but I wasn't able to grab it from reception until today. I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of it!

I noticed it was a bit ironic that I had 2 recipients in California and Chicago area while my Secret Santas also both hailed from these two areas too.

I have one of them acknowledged receipt but have not heard back from the other. I guess everyone is simply busy during the holidays and no follow up is really necessary, but it is nice to know if you chose correctly or not.

I have received 1 of 2 Secret Santa gifts and all I can say is wow! That is a lot of Starbucks and this will keep me wired for weeks maybe months to come! ^

The other SS has notified me gift is on the way so at least know now what to expect this week.

I was simply frustrated because having birthday same day as Christmas Eve, will get skipped on gifts so sometimes. So therefore I might take it more personal when Santa hasn't paid a visit by Christmas morning.

Lastly, I encourage everyone to be a Secret Santa this year and to do so anonymously online and for free at the following websites below. There are many more less fortunate than us who could use this assistance! Websites are free and you can click daily to provide support.

Is it possible that some of the people have not acknowledged their gifts because they haven't received them? I personally have only received one of my two. I have acknowledged the one I did receive. Maybe the people who have not received acknowledgement should send a PM to the recipients and double check to see if the presents arrived. As much as I love presents and surprises (a lot!) I tend to be more on the "it is more fun to give" end of the presents spectrum, and am not particularly upset about not receiving a second present. I would feel horrible however if someone thought I was just not thanking them because I couldn't be bothered.

Well, I am off now to a fifth and final round of Christmas exchange with friends and family....And then to sleep for about a week or so.

Gang,

I have sent out notes to everyone to get status updates. This is the part Santa really hates. I already know of one person who has no intention of following through with their commitment.

I hope my note will encourage people to post what they received online.

Even Santa has not received his gifts.... but that has been par every year... two years ago... it took until June to get my gift... and it was delivered in person.

Sorry to everyone who did not get a gift by Christmas.... I tried.

William
