At least still more than two weeks to think about it some more. Perhaps the wings will direct you then?

Ok that's it. I am confirmed. Booked 2 nights at the Westin and still yet to book my flights but I don't think it's a problem.

See you all there.

So...are we bringing bottles for the bday kids (i.e. 3 of us)???

By bottles I mean wine.

So can the Plats get us lowly Golds into the Westin's lounge for drinkies in the evening?

I have mentioned to Cawhite60156 that I will bring Krug for her pool party (courtesy of SQ of course), and she mentioned about bringing wine as well. Since most of us will be at Westin, I assume the famous rubber duck pool party will be held at Westin. Paging Cheryl to the front desk please

That would be "our" pool party, ahem... (I would say "the" pool party, but I suspect there will be 2 of them) I'll plan to bring a couple bottles of wine or whatever else we all decide on. We will also have birthday cake at the Friday evening pool party, courtesy of the Westin. I kinda mentioned my b-day in my res and received a VERY kind e-mail (as mentioned above) which also indicated they'd be pleased to provide a comp'd birthday cake ^

WOW, great to hear that the Westin will provide the b'day cake. I am really looking forward to be there. Looks like fun at the pool party after looking at the pictures of the hotel again.

I was definitely surprised (pleasantly so!) when I received the e-mail offering the cake. That's a really nice touch for them to do for a guest. ^ But frankly, I'm just hoping it puts me higher on the upgrade list than the other PLTs in the group

That and your 4000 posts.

You think it would be overkill if we mentioned that there were 3 of us (I think) staying at the Westin and on/close to our bdays?

I'll ring a coupla bottles of good white wines...

Well, I haven't received any email from Westin yet, so I guess you're way up there on the priority list...

so much for my suite....
