cawhite60156, did they mention anything about lounge access? I wonder if they will upgrade to RBC rooms
Tried to book the RBC offer, but got an error. Looks like you'll be the first to check-in on the 26th. ^ ...
No mention of the RBC or lounge access, just what I had typed above. I'm going to call the PLT Concierge later to change my Sat night back to the Westin and will ask if they know anything about lounge access. I was surprised to hear from them, they were just acknowledging the special requests/comments I made when I set up the new reservation on line.

CGK, Guttorm is heading up to LHR (SQ) tomorrow. He'll be in NYC on 16th (UA F), and then to NRT (NH New Biz) on 19th. I'm looking forward to reading his trip report when he's done with it all.
Thank you! Hope he enjoy his trip. And hope he will rate SQ in the top... He should max his RTW to 39,000 miles so that he can go to Bali DO, and he can add SYD for later...

I played around with starwood bookings, I can book RBC special offers but only with 2 single beds though. I went to Westin Bali Nusa Dua site, and clicked on the "Special Offers" which one of them would be RBC.

So, you will stay both nights at Westin?

I think so, unless someone can find a reason that I should be staying at the Sheraton on Saturday night (okay, a reason other than the extra stay credit)? Between the e-mail and the FT reviews and the Heavenly Bed...the only advantage I saw that the Sheraton had that the Westin didn't was the ability to jump into the lagoon from one's deck? Thoughts?

It's true though about Heavenly Bed. I like it as well. In SF, I prefer to stay at Westin St Francis, than Sheraton Palace. The bed makes a difference.

The Sheraton & Westin are next to each other. Not sure about their distance from the Conrad though.

Correct. Sheraton and Westin are next to each other. Conrad is in Tanjung Benoa. If I am not mistaken, it's about 3 km or 2 miles from Sheraton/Westin.
KuDeTa restaurant for Friday night dinner will be about 25 km from these hotels. Bumbu Bali for Saturday night will be quite near.

IIRC Bumbu Bali is about 2-3 minutes by car from Conrad.

I sent an e-mail back to the person (Res Sales) at the Westin asking about lounge access & breakfast for PLTs -- response was

Regarding your question pertaining the Platinum privileges, I am delighted to inform you that as platinum member you are entitled for :

I did let them know that there would be 3-4 PLTs and at least a couple GLDs staying there in the same group with me, some for one night & some for two (I couldn't remember the exact numbers, but figured that would be close enough). So they've been forwarned!

And thanks for posting the photos!

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to wing this one Maybe I should also go get my head checked as I'm passing up an opportunity to fly SQ Raffles LAX-SIN-DPS-SIN-SFO.

      I guess next time.
