USD752 all-inclusive, BOS-SIN-BWI, VXSP32
- but it's not as though I hopped right on
this bandwagon - but rather waited craftily
until the price appeared to be right. Maybe
the people here already got the good fares
for those days.

hey, count me in too. I am taking my holiday vacation time after Jan. 10 so SIN would be a perfect head start for requalifying elite.

Also, FYI below. Rumors were that SARS would resurface again, this only adds fuel to that fire but I am not worried. Worst case scenario, I would standby to fly back earlier.

I'd like to go, too! Just so happens I'm getting to Singapore in the wee early hours of Jan. 15 on NW to kick off a fairly long Asia trip. Guess I lucked out on the timing.

Will probably be staying at the Tai Hoe Hotel in Little India (now convenient to the Farrer Park MRT) unless I land something on Priceline. Can meet up with group at Conrad to head out, though (could also take own taxi if necessary). In addition to 1/17 dinner, any activities on the day of or before might be do-able for me. Will probably head to Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

Hope there's still room. Have been using FlyerTalk for some 3 years now but this would be my first gathering. Am excited about.

RustyC, I am there the same nights you are, and I got the Marriott for $62+ on Priceline.

My spouse and I recently decided we were going to try for the first time to make NW silver. From FT we learned that by doing so early in '04 we would be silver for the remainder of '04 and for all '05. To make a long story shorter, we decided on a MR run of DTW-SIN for 1/15-1/19 which we found out after the fact was the weekend of something called SIN DO 2004. Not knowing anything about it I posted a Q in itineries. dhammer53 pointed us to this thread and after reading about it we decided it sounds like fun!

Soooo if you don't mind a couple of green-horn rookie travelers from Ann Arbor(Go Blue) tagging along with y'all we'd love to take a chance on some chili crabs.

FYI: 1st trip over the date-line, 1st trip out of the country, 1st MR, etc, etc....

dlouise37,

You two are very welcome indeed to join this gang of crazy, mileage happy, crab eating, miles and points gabbing group for an evening in SIN.

Welcome Aboard!

If you can post to me via e-mail ([email protected]) as much of your itinerary and hotel details as you are comfortable with, I will add those details to our SIN Run 2004 Homepage.

There will be several new faces and a few whose names you may recognize from various threads on FT. We will not be a huge group, but certainly large enough to test your memory when you look at your pictures after you get home several thousand miles later.

If you have any questions or need info, ask here or feel free to e-mail me.

See you two in SIN soon,

Mike

We are looking into it. However, Sidestep quotes $720 for United from SFO and LAX and UAL's website for the exact same itinerary is quoting over $1000. Very frustrating. Will be using the antiquated phone system to see if I can't get a better fare. This is very weird. Plus, the multi-city hasn't worked right in some time.
