Weekends always ends up a headache for me to find where to head out for dinner. Anyway, found this website that might be useful should any of you decide to venture out and try the various food in SIN.
food.sgforums.com
Going to try the Ellenborough Market Cafe at Merchant Court tomorrow, then head out to Chinatown for som pre-CNY shopping.

I should have posted earlier, but in any case I will be unable to join you in SIN. Although I was considering taking the quarter off, I have decided to continue with classes this quarter, and am no longer able to travel
Have fun nonetheless!

Hey, Mike, please put another place on
at Jumbo: my friend and frequent travel
companion (not girlfriend) Bennie. Fairly
entertaining and quite knowledgeable
about food and frequent flying (a perfect
candidate for the BBSes except that she
doesn't have a computer.

For those joining us for drinks at the Conrad pre dinner on Saturday, I am listed as contact person. Email me if you don't know my name. I will likely be in the lounge by 6pm. Have the front desk call me there so that I can come downstairs to escort you up. (I don't think you can access the Executive Floor unless you are a guest.) jan_az is also happy to host guests.

Unfortunately I will have to bow out despite actually being in SIN this time. I have out of town visitors and it would be quite inappropriate for me to be enjoying a tipple and seafood while they sit about in my home!
Enjoy, may the weather stay nice for the do and have a drink on my behalf!
Hopefully next time....

I'll have an extra crab leg in your stead and we can hoist a cold one in the direction of town. See you next time.
