Great Forum! New Member Intro

I've been reading this forum for a little while and thought it would be good to post some kind of intro before posting anything else. This seemed like the best forum for it, unless I completely missed a sub-forum dedicated to new members.

I just recently discovered this forum and was very happy to find it. I've been a frequent traveler for about 1 1/2 years in my current job have found that I really love to travel, even though I only have ~100k miles in that time. I would love to travel more, but I'm a little disappointed that my department is trying to cut down. :( I currently travel about 65% of the time all domestic. If anyone out there looking for an auditor to travel more and especially international, shoot me a message! :)

I'm looking forward to meeting people here, learning a lot, and hopefully contribute something myself. Thanks to everyone who makes this forum what it is!

Welcome to FT, auditraveler. There actually is a place where new members introduce themselves. It's the Who we all are thread in the Community Forum.

Hope you stick around and share your travel experiences with us :).

Hi! I'm a gal from the DFW area of Texas! I have been lurking in the AA forum forever but am just now starting to branch out into others. I guess I don't travel as much as most folks here - so maybe "travel enthusiast" is more appropriate for a title for me. :) For traveling, mostly I like to get away for the weekend (working with my work schedule!) and then occasionally take that crazy international trip. And I like to read about FTers' busy travel schedules and live vicariously through y'all... :D

Hi all,

Just joined FT recently, but have been travelling fairly heavily (mostly domestic Canada) for the last 2 years or so. I've been really impressed with the info members hav posted so far--it's actually kind of addictive. This is a great forum for discussion, and I'll look forward to contributing whatever I can.

Happy New Year everone!

Since I have used the forum to obtain great information about pretty much any- and everything I need as far as flying and then some goes, I figured I should register.
Been flying since the military in 98 and since then my interest of flying has just increased with time. Especially since I have family spread out world wide.

Thanks for so much great info, everyone.

Hi all,

Just upgraded to RA and spend most of my time in the Intercontinental Hotels subforum.

Split my air travel between qantas and singapore so might have a look through those forums as well ^

First post - long time lurker but "joined" only today. I live in the Midwest, run a consulting / professional services group as part of a large global organization and travel like crazy. AA and NWA were my staples and now a reluctant convert to DL in lieu of NWA! Prefer Starwoods and Hilton happens to be my backup hotel chain.
