Hi everyone. Surreal day. Windows rattling, floor shaking (assuming now that it was from the Pentagon impact 2-3 miles from my office). Watching smoke rising from both sides of the potomac. Like a scene from Independence Day or something. Told to stay put then told to go home as quickly as possible.

Many thanks to those who called and emailed. I cant tell you how much your concern touches me.

Am physically fine but emotionally exhausted...mostly I'm pissed off.

I am safe at home but still in a daze. I called the Catman on his cell around 6:15am pst and got his answering machine. I had to drive to a suppliers summit at Raytheon close to LAX this morning. The traffic was terrible and I thought I was late arriving at 8:10a but a lot of people didn't make it until 9:00a. Since Raytheon is a defense contractor, security was very tight. Bag searches, picture ID's, and escorts to the bathroom. I did manage to get through to MrLimo and talk with him for a few minutes around 8:30a.

Thanks PremEx for getting this post started for us! God Bless all of the families!

I received an e-mail from nj_david that he is on a mileage run (EWR-MIA-CLE-LAX-IAH-MIA-EWR) and trapped in MIA. Contemplating an amtrak ticket.
He is OK
