At home in Quartz Hill. Boss call a while ago & said not to come into work. (I work at a wastewater plant about a mile from the Los Angeles Airport). Boss said some freeways were shut down by airport so was glad she saved me hours of driving misery. Heart goes out to all affected.

We're safe in San Jose. We did our first visit to the Pentagon only 10 days ago. Anybody hear from DHammer, or hopefully I missed him checking in.

Safe and saddned in Providnece.
After cancelling our training today our company has extended our hotel reservation until Monday in case the airports stay closed for awhile.
This is a such an un thinkable tragedy. My thoughts and prayers to all involved.

Well I'm glad to be home in East Texas.
My family flew out of IAD (where one of the hijacked planes left from) on Sunday, and I can still picture security. Due to a cancellation I stayed at the ticket counter to sort out getting assignments for an earlier flight and sent my wife and two small children on ahead to the gate. I passed through security by myself with a bag and our daughter's carseat - the car seat was too big for the scanners so the security guard took it off my hands and gave it a cursory pat-down. It didn't even go through the walk-through metal detectors, so it would be very easy to conceal a weapon in something like that. Security will have to get better than that.
I'm also booked in to attend a conference on the 49th floor of the south tower of the World Trade Center in about two weeks - I'm sad to think that not only will there likely be no conference, but all of the people hosting it whose offices are there have probably perished.
What a sick world we live in. I pray for wisdom for America's leaders, and for comfort and support for the victims and their families.

I'm home safe in Mississippi....just absolutely flabbergasted! I'm horrified at this tragedy and cannot imagine the scene in NY or DC(it's look some horror movie). I was recently there having lunch and shopping at the WTC. I am saying a prayer for everyone involved or affected by this. I hope to see more posts.
