There is no "official" FT hotel, although a lot of people will be at the Renaissance, it seems. I was wondering if you would be able to make it all the way up from Seattle.

Looks like I will be staying at the Delta Vancouver Suites... got a good rate of CAD$135/night, and I have an upgrade to Exec Suite certificate that anyone can print from the internet.

Yikes! The strike is still on. Hope this gets resolved before we come up next month (I'll be there on a separate trip on May 3 and will get to see first hand).

The taxi situation isn't as bad as originally thought. I have had virtually no trouble catching one.
The SkyTrain is running...so if anyone is staying out at Hilton Metrotown it is still an option.
