The Vancouver Airport Four Points by Sheraton has a rate this weekend of CAD$99, or about $63 US. Getting into town might be a problem with the bus strike, but I understand most hotels are running shuttles downtown. I also will have a minivan and can probably assist at least a few people with tranport issues.
The Four Point rate can be found at: http://www.travelweb.com/TravelWeb/c...ain=SI&cur=CAD

The airporter buses are a separate operation. I was there a week ago and they were running while local transit (and the SeaBus to North Vancouver) were not.

Meeting times:
Dinner at Aquariva 7:00 pm (of course, you can show up earlier to start on the cocktails)
Brunch at Victoria Chinese Restaurant: Start at 10:30 (so people can catch flights) and people can keep trickling in after that.

Hey left coasters,
I just found out the Mariners are hosting the Yankees at Safeco Field this Sunday afternoon; what are my chances of getting a walkup ticket? I'd have just enough time to catch the game before my redeye home...
