Nice site!

I'm glad to see that I'm on the confirmed list without even having to mail you

Looking really forward to this!

Why did you pick Aqua Riva? It doesn't get very consistent reviews/ratings... Just curious.

I am going to likely be in the area on that weekend. Is there anything special I need to do to get involved in this get together?

Tom911,

I don't know how long the transit strike may go on. However, the SkyTrain is still running.

Dorian,

I chose AquaRiva because:
1) The food is generally good;
2) They can accomodate our large group; and 3) They will give us individual checks so we can do away with the payment "challenges" we have had in the past.

NewK2,

If you are interested in participating, please e-mail me and let me know so I can put you on the list.

shadow! I'm so glad, Pete, to hear that you guys will be able to make this event after all. I'm sure it's no hardship for Jackie either as won't she be visiting family there?

Vancouver Hilton? Do you mean Richmond or Burnaby? Richmond is next to the airport, 20 mins from downtown.

Burnaby is about 15-20 mins from downtown. Burnaby is right next to Metroplois, Metrotown and Eatons center (Big Mall and amusement area). You will need a car at either location.

Downtown Vancouver doesn't have a Hilton yet, but they do have a Hampton Downtown.

I have booked in at the Delta Suites for $129 CAD/night. Watching for other good deals.

If I am not in Ecuador I will be there.
