I have a frou-frou reception in darkest Maryland to go to on the 2nd, but if I were looking for a happy hour in Alexandria, I might try Brabo or Vermillion, both of which I think have deals.
If I were looking for cheap casual food, you can't do much better than the fish and chips at Eammon's.

For a couple of reasons, we're going to postpone dinner with UNHBuzzard until later this summer when he starts a consulting gig near Tyson's (hear that, GoingAway, another arrow to add to your quiver as you push for HHs out your way). Next up will be Restaurant Week. All seats have currently been claimed, but please post to the thread if you'd like to be added to the waitlist.

With headinclouds withdrawal, and with no one on the waitlist, you get to skip the waitlist completely and clear immediately. Glad you'll be able to join us. See you at Occidental Grille tomorrow evening.

Northern VA 9/17 or 18?
Our usual monthly stop this time on a Monday and Tuesday in the middle of the month.
We are probably staying either in Arlington or somewhere around the Beltway but anywhere in No VA that somebody likes or wants to try is good with us.
