After managing only 3.5 hours of "airplane" sleep from JNB, I'm going to have to pass on tonight's event. Sorry I'm going to miss it.

It's been too long since I've proposed anything, but I'm coming up (briefly) for air.

Would anyone be interested in dinner in DC on April 10 or 11 around 6:30 pm? I'm very flexible on location, though Penn Quarter always works for me. Perhaps by then spring break will be over and we'll have the city a little more to ourselves.

I'm free on the 11th and Penn QUarter would work fine for me.

I'll be tied up at the office until ~7pm on the 10th, but could join afterward.

I fly home on the 11th so that wouldn't work for me.

10th works for me, but I'm in Atlantic City for a meeting on 11th.

I am available on both dates. Either the 10th or 11th is fine. Ping Pong, which is a modern dim sum restaurant may be a good venue. It is located in Chinatown on 7th St. towards the Convention Center. Otherwise, Clyde's is always a fallback strategy.

High[er] end food or good local DC stuff? The sandwiches at Harrys are really good local food - if that is what we are looking for (?)

I think Greg was referring to Penn Quarter in DC. There is no Harry's there, if you are referring to Harry's On Tap.

Unfortunately, something's come up and I can't do Wednesday night.

So, Thursday the 11th, at 6:30 pm at Ping Pong is confirmed. The reservation is under the name "Davis."

Attendees will be:
mhnadel
tonywestsider
alcathiax
gvdIAD

Anyone else?

A little later (maybe 6:30) would work better for me, since I have an appointment that afternoon that, while it should finish at 5, probably won't.

Okay, 6:30 pm on Thursday it is. Any other takers for Ping Pong, 900 7th St., NW, near the Gallery Place-Chinatown stop on Metro's Green, Red, and Yellow lines?
