Well I spoke too soon
Flow control delay into all NY airports including ground stops. ATL-EWR stopped boarding halfway through, we're looking at at least a 40 minute delay out of here so I'll definitely be late. I apologize in advance, I just hope to make it by 9. Have them save some soup for me!

Regrettably, I'll have to take a raincheck on this event - something just came up at work, and it's looking like I'll be eating at my desk tonight.
I'll call the restaurant to let 'em know to subtract one. Sorry and thanks.

For anyone checking this thread last-minute, I'll be delayed--on the bus from LGA to my friend's place now and will hurry there as quickly as I can. Feel free to PM me for a cell # or PM me your cell #.

Thanks for a wonderful evening folks, meeting new Flyertalkers and catching up with others I haven't seen in awhile. Hope you all had a great time.
There will be a Soup Do 10 next year... but I could be convinced to host special Soup Dos if you come to NYC... or host dinners at other places you like. I LOVE Cats but I like being able to talk to Humans.
Enjoy the BRT and have a MEOWY weekend!

Stuffed from a post-soup pastrami at Carnegie Deli, so apologies if my post is nonsensical due to a food coma. Great to see old friends and put some new faces to names. See most of you tomorrow, some of you Sunday, and a few of you in Anchorage!

I wanted to thank yall for making this such a fun event for me, it was my first Soup DO and second DO ever and I just can't wait til the next one, wherever it may be! And the after-party at Carnegie was pretty fun too! My grandma is gonna love the corned beef sandwich I'm bringing her today.
Hope everyone who's going on the BRT has a blast today, and yall at the Wine DO have fun at that too.
By the way... did anybody see an umbrella on the table at Carnegie? When I got off the subway it was raining and I realized mine was missing
I was gonna retire it anyway but it was still a bit earlier than I would have liked.
Happy travels!

Hey J
Call Carnegie. If they have your umbrella I'll be happy to go pick it up, even though it's TWO blocks away.

What a great evening as always! Food was great, company better, and our host was the best, of course!
I'll post the group pictures tomorrow when I get to work, I only do stuff like that when I'm on the clock
See everyone at next year's Do and hopefully sooner!
