Dear Flyertalk Friends... IT's time for...
SOUP DO 9! Inspired by Dhammer53 This year SOUPER Is DEDICATED to Dave Chesebro/Newself... who wanted to attend one... Jim Morago/Magic who came to several Soup Dos and planned to come to this one :( (THey also were among 85 guests at the Catman Do 3 in 2001.) Date: Friday June 1, 2012 Time: 8pm Place: La Bonne Soupe on West 55th Street (of course) Reservation for a party of THIRTY (30) under MARK BLANCHARD (my real name) Here's the menu: http://www.labonnesoupe.com/img/Menu_Front.pdf For about 23 to 25 dollars w tip you can get a nice meal of their awesome soups with salad, desert and drink from Diet Coke to a nice microbrew (the beers keep changing for beer fans. The last Soup Do's have been a FUN evening of talking miles and points and other stuff. Hoping for new Flyertalk friends and past Soup Do-ers to come for a fun night. I will try to convince Mr. Kipper, but he's not a fan of NY and NYC especially.
Alternatively, perhaps my MIL would be interested in the BRT, since she grew up there. :D |
I've been wanting to do the Soup DO for years but always been busy. I'm actually available for once and can attend my first one.

After the fun had last year (including the waitress forgetting the beers Top of Climb and I ordered!), the great conversation, the food and all the good times, I'm totally, unequivocally in!

Having done my first go-round of another FT NYC institution last year, definitely interested in attending this venerable event for the first time this year. ^
