Please put me down on your waitlist, if you can't put me on your confirmed list that is. Sounds like great fun. I am planning on doing the SOUP DO too, also sounds like great fun, and they will go great together! Thanks!

Please put SFOMo and me on the waitlist.

I have wanted to do this for several years, but have always had other plans. We will buy airfare once we know we are in (if that's possible).

You're both waitlisted. Please advise.

Last night, HPN-HRL came to my house to make payment. Nice to see some folks take this seriously. ^

The first post has been edited. If your name doesn't have a * next to it, this means that you're not coming or, we have an arrangement.

If you're not coming, please PM me so that I can take you off the list (before I start self-liquidating).

dh

Seats are still available. 41 paid/confirmed so far.

Just a reminder... Randy Petersen, founder of Flyertalk and Milepoint, will (finally) be joining us on the tour.

To answer the anticipated wiseguy question, Randy will be the only person allowed to talk, while I'm lecturing about Brooklyn. There are exceptions to every rule.

If Randy showed up at 10:04...would the bus wait for him?

I'm sure he'll share a cab with you to our first stop.

Doors close at 10:00
Pushback no later than 10:04.

Who knows. I may follow the airlines lead and close the door early.

Paid just now by PayPal, and looking forward to the tour and spending time with lots of great FTers!

By the way, where is everyone from out of town staying, maybe some people might share a cab to the meeting point?

I will probably be staying at: Fairfield Inn New York Long Island City/Manhattan View $144/night
52-34 Van Dam Street
Long Island City, New York
11101 USA

(Possible alternative: Courtyard New York Manhattan/Upper East Side $183/night
410 East 92nd Street
New York, New York)
10128 USA

I met with dhammer53 at Citi Field for The Frequent Traveler Awards — of which I am an original volunteer — this past Thursday night and said to him that I really would like to attend but I cannot make any promises.

Other FlyerTalk members have tried to convince me to attend. I will see what I can do, as I want to see my original home one more time...

Everyone reads this the same way, except for me. I read between the lines.
What do you mean one more time? Are you about to pass on to the great potsie/skelly field in the sky?

As instructed, here's my yes for BRT.

I've already posted yes in the Soup DO and Wine DO threads.

Well, one never knows, of course, but I intend to be alive and well for years to come.

I just would like to see Brooklyn one more time. To see it with friends from FlyerTalk would be even better.

I am working on it. I can taste those bialies now...
