¹² Both of these tours include transport to/from Mindil Beach Markets on Sunday evening. Also people not doing either tour on Sunday can still join everyone else for the Sunset Markets.

I think the time has finally come when I can safely say (barring the totally unexpected happening) that I'm a non-starter for this event.

Would have loved to have come along but things just did not pan out.

I'm sure the organisers (ozbeachbabe and markis10, and anyone else who helped) have done a great job setting things up, and that a great Oz Fest will be had by all attendees. Enjoy!

Have these things changed?
I just went through and looks like the pre-do is charged..

Yes, pre and post do selected activities can now be purchased online at the request of a few attendees.

The Lords Safari is still paid direct to them by Visa or Mastercard. They just need to know your cc details & will charge your card the night prior ie 25 May.

Pre-do accommodation at Holiday Inn Gagudju is or course paid direct to the hotel like all other Ozfest accommodation.

The pre-do stuff that can now be prepaid via the eventarc website is for the Yellow Waters Cruise, Kakadu NP entry fee & the cost of the shuttle to/from Kakadu.

By paying these items via the site it avoids the need to pay with cash for these things at a later date.

Registered and ready

We're back home for awhile and catching up after five nights in ICN, including the important task of registering the two of us for the events.

I have to thank the organizers for a tremendous job of, well, organizing, in providing information, options (including pre- and post-), and in cheerfully answering (or anticipating) our many questions. ^ ^

We're really looking forward to it.

Woman finds crocodile on front veranda in Darwin

A WOMAN almost stepped on a crocodile after it wandered up to her front door in Darwin's northern suburbs.

Folks are doing it tough in Far North Queensland.

A thread from markis10 on the Australian Frequent Flyer Forum.

It is almost a pity that Oz Fest is not in Cairns this year as Folks are doing it tough in FNQ at the moment and there are some good bargains going.

This year FNQ has had enormous amounts of rain, Cyclone Yasi, more rain and now even an earthquake.
