Based upon the positive feedback for Option #1, you might sell out Premium Economy, too. ^

Don't jump too much yet - this thread has only had about half-dozen positive responses to the option. Although it should be easier to turn talk into walk at this stage if the option is offered (cf. trying to get people to actually sign up & pay for SMD2).

Put me down as another person who would be interested in option #1 if I can get F miles credited to BD. I've been looking for year-end MR's to round out both my UA and BD accounts, and this would allow me to hit both easily.

Option 2
Everyone forks over 50 bucks. (a logistical nightmare )
*IF* you needed ONE more person to buy a premium economy seat, I'd do it. Otherwise, I'd be more inclined to go for Option 2 (I agree with SkiAdcock that asking for $50 from everyone doesn't seem that hard, and seems fairer.)

Right now, the regular Flyertalk group is almost full, while less than half of the Star Mega DOers have RSVPd and paid.

So please get your RSVP done as soon as possible.

I've RSVP'd & paid, too.

I'm not in the mood to do #1 due to other major travels in November, but would be ok with #2 and #3, in that order.

Followup here to LIH Prem, um, no, you go volunteer to be 1 of the 15. I've actually already applied for Tommy class. "Thanks."

So I guess you are volunteering to be one of 15?

#2 and #3 aren't very practical, IMO.

USD 50 airport/charter check-in fee? And must be paid in cold hard cash - no credit cards.

Here's the deal

I had a sitdown with Scott O'Leary tonight here in the hometown of the worlds largest airlines and while my beloved Yankees screwed up, I was making a good deal for the new product on the charter:

Tommy Class

You get:
The first rows of Economy and also the bulkhead in the last section.
Middle seat will ble blocked
You will be picked up last at the Sheraton in a private shuttle meaning 45 minutes more sleep
Champagne will be served on the shuttle
Porter service, you leave your checked luggage on the shuttle, our guy will take care of it
Escorte through private security
Pitstop at the CO lounge for a quick Veuve
Board first in both IAH and PHX
Free coke from Doug
The first 10 who pay will secure a suite at the Sheraton IAH

And the mist important part: 200% RDMs and EQMs on CO and CO, F miles on LH and BD.

So if you're CO or US elite you will receive 8200 EQMs and with the 100% elite bonus that's 16.400 miles!! Even more than last year.

All this for 265USD per person

14 middle seats will be blocked. The first 28 to send an email to
[email protected] will secure the spots.
Paypal invoices will be sent immediately, pls pay then when you receive them

Thank you for helping us so the organizers finally can

Before you ask: UA has not responded, so don't expect anything from them
