Picasso Exhibit at Seattle Art Museum
For those Starmegado'ers who are not immediately leaving Seattle, there is a significan exhibit of Picasso paintings opening up at the Seattle Art Museum which is definitely worth seeing. It is being called "not to miss". I'm going next week. You'd need to book tickets in advance to be sure to get in.

The Seattle Art Museum is downtown and a reasonably easy walk from the Westin or Sharaton.

And also will be at the deYoung Museum in San Francisco from June 11 to September 25, 2011:

FYI, if you're in SF now through December 18, 2010, the deYoung is also exhibiting Post-Impressionist works (Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cezanne) from the Musee d'Orsay in Paris:

Look forward to meeting folks in a few weeks!

Folks, I was hoping that most of you would go to the Frequent Traveler Awards and support our efforts on putting together an award in the Freddies void.
Right now, the regular Flyertalk group is almost full, while less than half of the Star Mega DOers have RSVPd and paid.
I know that the last years of the Freddies were free and our intentions is to get to that point in the future, but we need to get the cash first. The cost per person is almost 100 USD, so we are covering quite a bit.
But 40 bucks for a full dinner and free alcohol from 6PM-1130PM is an amount I did not have any problems paying, especially with the number of airline execs attending.
So please get your RSVP done as soon as possible.

Just had our call today and after cleaning out the list of participants that has not paid, we are in the hole 9K USD
Yes, there has been some signups the last week, but it pretty much made up for the people who have canceled/not paid up.
So the tally is STILL over 30 seats open...
We have gotten a lot of suggestions, thank you for sending them. The problem with most of the suggestions is time.
So in my opinion, we have 3 options:
Option 1
We can sell a premium economy with the middle seat open in the first rows, the latest shuttle from the Sheraton and Concierge to the gates in IAH and PHX, but the same service on board as Economy, but you receive F miles .
Option 2
Everyone forks over 50 bucks. (a logistical nightmare )
Option 3
We kick off 15 people and downgrade to a 737-900
My guess is we'll do option #1 and hope we can get 20 people to go for that deal...
Your thoughts are appreciated.

SMD2 seatmaps
Thank you to everybody who has sent me their seat assignments on SMD2 flights. For the benefit of those of you who might not have seen my original post, I am creating seatmaps for the following SMD2 flights. I have added a couple more since my previous post.
LH405 JFK-FRA 01 NOV
LX15 JFK-ZRH 01 NOV (new)
LH440 FRA-IAH 03 NOV
CO47 FRA-IAH 03 NOV
CO1905 IAH-PHX-PAE 05 NOV (to follow)
LH491 SEA-FRA 07 NOV (new)
Please PM your seat assignments for any of the TATL flights to me so I can add them to the seatmaps. It will make it easier for me to ensure I don't miss anybody if you send your information by PM rather than post it here and clutter this thread.
Participation is entirely voluntary. But what's the point in coming to SMD2 and staying anonymous?

Thanks Tommy, I will bring a bodyguard
I should be all paid up, and am trying to get some friends to come along.
It will be interesting to say the least.
For my history with Doug, please see your PM's.
