The TY account is finally established on the Premier card that was applied on June 23rd, applied on June 29th in plain envelope USPS delivery with statement closed on July 6th.
With the TY account available, to combine of course is a simple process.
For the troubles we went thru, a front line rep added 1000 courtesy points to the account.

EXACT same thing happened to me. Waited 3 weeks, never came. Called, they canceled the first one and sent another overnight.

Applied and approved on 7/10. After having CS tell me three shipping stories - you'll receive it in the mail in 5-10 business days, we can't expedite this card, and finally, it expedited for overnight delivery (that was 2 days ago....), the card was (finally) shipped last night and arrived Fedex Standard Overnight just now, 7/15 at 2:30pm. :roll eyes:
I guess that's an improvement over my SO's Premier card from a month ago, took 10+ days via USPS snail mail.

I was approved for this card on July 5th. STILL have not received it in the mail. I called yesterday and they said it could take 7-10 business days, but they confirmed it was mailed last wednesday. Wasn't in today's mail either. Is this unusual? I haven't had a lot of dealings with Citi.

I just called Citi again. They again confirmed it was mailed to me July 8th and said I definitely should have received it by now. They said they will FedEx another card to me overnight. It really leaves you wondering where (and with who) all our cards are ending up!

My card arrived 2 weeks late. It just gets lost in the Post Office shuffle sometimes.

So in using this card a lot in trying to hit minimum spend right after doing the same with the Prestige, I've found this card is slightly less annoying re: magnetic strip on the front. Whereas on the Prestige the cashiers were completely baffled, at least on this card they seem to recognize quickly the stripe is on the front, though they never fail to make a comment on the oddity of the strip position.
Citi really needs to realize this was a misfire. At least when the CSP first came out, however awkward the comments were, they were at least mildly flattering. Here, it is mostly just abject confusion about your payment method.

Card arrived this morning, less than 24 hrs after they told me they would overnight me another one. Original card still has not arrived, even though they confirmed it was shipped. Really makes me uncomfortable that there's a card with my name on it floating around out there somewhere.

Please note I'm not saying you're wrong. Based on your # of posts it's safe to assume you're in fact right. I'm just looking for supportive data or a direction to find such information.

Citi Premier - 50k TY points after $3k spend in (3) months
I applied 6/29 pending but then approved via chat. Card arrived on 7/6 in the box. Statement closed Friday and TY has been created and all points posted. Seems like I got lucky with the speed of things.
