No one has said she is violent. Don't know where that idea is coming from. A mentally ill person may not have the capacity to learn her lesson. My concern is she may not get the mental health care she needs while incarcerated in a county jail. A mental health facility seems, to me, a better fit but as has been stated are few in number.

If she's in jail, she isn't getting treatment, which is not the same thing as drugs. Not sure why you keep talking about her learning her lesson, as incarceration per se doesn't "teach" the mentally ill. It usually just exacerbates their disease.

All,

I knows serial stowaway is still in jail for 10 months now. We haven't heard anything in a long time. She will never get out of jail for foreseeable future. She still incarcerated. She still punishment. She doesn't listen to the judge. She won't learn her lesson. I am not sure what she is doing. I think she take her medication. She still banned airports, Greyhound bus and Amtrak. She repeatedly, repeatedly and repeatedly not go to airports anymore. She was not supposed to be there. She is mentally ill. She doesn't understand and she never listen to the judge or anybody else. She needs psychiatrist! Get her help!

However, she was given well over two years of credit for the time she has already been in custody, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

When she gets out in 18 months facial recognition scanner should be ubiquitous. I am curious to see if (or many times) she beats them, too!

It's not going to be anywhere nearly as long as 18 months. She received credit for good behavior in custody which reduced how long she will be in custody.

From the Chicago Sun Times:
Chiampas sentenced Hartman to 18 months in prison on the trespassing charge and two years on the escape charge, which Hartman will have to serve consecutively, the judge said.

Hartman received 874 days — two years and nearly five months — credit for her time in custody that will essentially satisfy her sentence.

Hartman could be released directly from Cook County Jail, having completed her sentence there, but the exact date was not immediately known, her assistant public defender Parle Roe-Taylor said.

I doubt it. She is mentally ill. I am 99% certain she will try it again, unless they institutionalize her or she takes meds. Whack jobs don't suddenly "see the light" after doing time. If anything they get worse in prison.

After 2 years if she received a good behavior and they will let her out of jail. She understand that she can not go to airport anymore. She have accepted that.

Yes, I know that. She is mentally ill. She doesn't change her behavior. She can't go to any place or she cannot go to airport anymore. She will take her medication. I am very aware of her. I follow her news very closely.

Well! Serial stowaway that she still in prison for 9 months now. It's so quiet. I'll bet TSA will be happier. No more crazy stowaway around! She is not going to airports anymore.

I don't want her repeatedly, repeatedly. She cannot leave from Safe Haven. She must obey to the judge or everybody else. She is not allowed to leave from the building. Judge says that she must ask permission to go out for a walk. She cannot go near CTA station. Staff have to stay with her. She cannot go alone without an escorted. Stay with her!

When she gets out of prison. She must wear on her ankle monitoring bracelets. It's required. They have keep an eye on her. If she done it again. She will be arrested again. There will be no more mental health opportunities. If she doesn't take her medication. She must have stay on her medication. Don't stop! She needs psychiatrist. Get some help! She will learn her lesson and keep out of trouble.
