Chase's benefit terms include this misleading sentence:
Ultimate Rewards points are earned on The Edit stays. The exclusion applies only to $250 directly offset by the credit.
Any amount above $250 charged to your CSR earns 8x points.
You can split the payment for Edit bookings between cash and points - you can charge $250 to your CSR to get The Edit credit and cover the remaining balance with UR points at a rate of somewhere between 1.6 and 2 cpp. No points are earned when payment is done this way.
Any purchases that qualify for the $500 Credit for stays with The Edit will not earn points.

What did your original confirmation say? If it was truly switched, that shouldn’t be an issue.
Or perhaps you inadvertently booked the single queen at booking, as opposed to Chase giving you something different that you booked?
if original confirmation was 2 queens, I’d call the hotel first. Speak to a front desk manager.

Have something similar for a stay next month.
is an Edit booking for a Hyatt property
not a room type issue but number of guests difference
chase shows 2 guests only but I know I booked for 3 (with child). Am able to see the stay on my Hyatt App and shows correctly 3 guests
so yes can confirm is some sort of Chase IT issue

We just booked an Edit hotel and the Chase confirmation includes "Please note, that your room is reserved, but your name may not be provided to the hotel until 48 hours prior to your check-in date."
We usually email a hotel well in advance with some requests and preferences. Is this 48 hours notice likely to be a problem? Is it worth writing to the hotel in a few days, since they can probably find the reservation from room type and stay dates, even without a name?
We got a 2x points boost, which is nice. Cash rate was the same as booking direct.

By "your account" do you mean your Chase account or an account with the hotel? The Chase email includes a Trip ID (Chase?) and hotel confirmation # (something the hotel might recognize in a day or two?).

if you used a loyalty account, I’d login first and see if it’s there. If not, use the hotel confirmation number Chase gave you, call the hotel and see what info. They have. You can always make a request then, or for most, even at check in.
I will say I booked a room via Amex THC in December and even entering my loyalty number at booking and confirming it would credit to IHG account as well, res did not show in IHG account. It was confirmed though, and no problems when checking in or getting credit after the stay.

My experience with Marriott is that it’s instant. But with iPrefer, it shows up a day or two later.

n=1 of course, but the last time I did an Edit booking with a Hyatt loyalty # the reservation showed up in my Hyatt account immediately.

Has anyone booked the Wailea Beach Resort in Maui through Chase Edit? Did you get an upgrade and how was the breakfast?
I'm trying to see if it is worth the extra cost to book through Edit for my stay. I'm a bonvoy GE so there is a slight possibility of an upgrade anyway, but would booking through Chase increase the chance of getting an upgrade? Also will prefer to get an early check-in, so again wondering if booking through Chase will improve the chance of getting an early checkin.
Normally I wouldn't even consider paying extra to book through Chase, but I don't think I won't be able to use the $250 credit this year otherwise and anyway still need to meet the spend requirement on my CSR Biz card. Will greatly appreciate any input from those who have booked this property.
