No you don't... So: You bought it through Chase, and Chase is advertising that it earns Bonvoy Credit and benefits.... that's who told you, sold you, and booked you into the Hotel. |

FYI, no issues earning credit at Marriott Properties through the Amex FHR and HC programs.... if you book a hotel through Amex that isn't part of those programs, then you get no credit or status recognition though. So this is a Chase issue, as Marriott seems to have not problem recognizing status through the original program like this that Chase is attempting to emulate.

I just had two separate "The EDIT" stays at MGM properties in Vegas. I added my Marriott number to both reservations on check in. One (MGM Grand) has awarded me Marriott stay credit for my stay and a token amount of points (1400ish). The other (Park MGM) has not tracked. Is this a YMMV situation?

I expect I will get the Edit Propery Credit at the Andaz for the first few days of my stay. I'm just wondering if the hotel would then say the FHR booking would not give me $100 because of the Edit booking. I was going to extend another few days using a second Edit booking and wanted to know if the $100 would be honored. I know it may vary on the property, but they are 2 different programs and I know FHR/THC are very clear with the "stay" language. I just haven't found that in the Edit terms. |

At check-in (two weeks ago) The hotel said they are not supposed to give two $100 property credits for consecutive stays, but then were nice and said they would make an exception and give me a $200 property credit this time to use anytime during my 3-day stay.

Has anyone used the Chase Sapphire Reserve "The Edit" feature to stay at The Mondrian La Condesa (CDMX)?
If so, how did it go? Also, how about the general $250 hotel credit for certain brands, like IHG, Montage, Pendry, Omni, Minor, Virgin, Pan Pacific, etc.? |

I definitely won't be using Chase Travel over using the IHG website to book future trips with the hassle I am now enduring and all the issues people had here in Las Vegas with resort fees being double charged. That's in addition to Chase Travel still not sending my member number in the reservation as they claim they do (and the issues others have had with points not posting). At least I got my loyalty points b/c I made sure my member number was added. |

Hate to beat this topic to death, but adding onto the reports of double charged resort fees as I just checked out of the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport today and was charged their $35/night destination fee, which was specifically broken out in the Chase Travel confirmation as a $70 charge included in the total paid. I showed the front desk agent what it said and they just shrugged and said not our problem without even attempting to work it out. When I called Chase to clear it up, they allegedly got on the phone with the same hotel employee and magically they said they should have never charged it and will refund me. The whole stay/booking was truly a mess. I used the $250 edit credit in combination with the new $250 select brands credit on the reservation on Jan. 11th for this booking. When the price dropped two days later, I cancelled and rebooked but the select brands credit did not return to the account instantly, so that credit was not applied but the second edit credit was applied so only $250 was covered. I used the same call to Chase as the above issue to ask them to manually apply the $250 select brands credit.
