However, later the same day I also requested the credit by Secure Message (for "baggage fees) and it was approved. Very YMMV now but still doable. 2/10/2017
Southwest Airlines GCs work fairly easily. I've generally bought them for $150 and said they're excess baggage fees.

Tried to lower CL to $1500, couldn't get them to go below 1800. This was by transfering my limit from the ritz to another card.

Had my CL lowered to $1500 last year, redeemed 2x $300 travel credits and the annual fee has not been charged to me yet this year.

For a RCR card opened last month with an AU - does the AU have to make a purchase or are the 10,000 points automatic? Most of the blogs I've read say the AU has to make a purchase, but the card number is the same, so how do they know it was the AU? If not, around how long does it take for the points to post? The 3 free nights already posted. Thanks!

Thanks for your response I just checked the card and the number on the back is also the same. Maybe info in the chip is different? I placed an order online using the AU's name, but it seems like there may have to be an in-store purchase.

I thought the 3 night offer was dead. Website shows 2 nights free. What am I missing here? I'm waiting for the 3 night offer to come back to sign up for this card.
