Ritz-Carlton Rewards Visa Infinite (closed to new applications)

Things qualifying/not qualifying under $300 annual travel credit

However, later the same day I also requested the credit by Secure Message (for "baggage fees) and it was approved. Very YMMV now but still doable. 2/10/2017
Southwest Airlines GCs work fairly easily. I've generally bought them for $150 and said they're excess baggage fees.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but is there anyway to get the $300 travel credit to work with Alaska Airlines? with their travel wallet feature, it should be pretty easy to pocket it and use it toward flights.

It's been a couple of years, but my experience was that Chase would happily reimburse the upcharge to change from a basic coach fare to an instant upgrade fare as an upgrade.

Didn't want to deal with the heavy card talk so I was handing someone the plastic one. He sees the Ritz logo and before taking it says "Oh another one of those heavy cards."

Been using this card in Colombia and two waitresses have said I must have money with such a heavy card. I said, "let me take you to dinner and you can find out." They both accepted. Thank you Chase and Ritz.

Did you have to send your metal cards back? I asked if I could have plastic version of the card as well as the metal version, and I was told no. I'd have to send the metal versions back after they send me the plastic ones.

Nope. They sent a second metal one by mistake with the plastic. They all work.

That was how I was credited for 2016's credit. Did a screen shot of the basic economy on AA and purchased the immediate upgrade. Was given full credit for the travel credit after uploading the screen shot.
