Up to 100K Avios - 50K after $3K spend/3 mos. plus 50K after $20K spend in 12 months($95 AF)
New benefits (August 2019):

Now with up to $600 in statement credits for award taxes and fees PER CALENDAR YEAR. 3x$200 or 3x $100 depending on class booked. See the details for flight restrictions, etc, here:
https://www.chase.com/personal/credit-cards/british-airways/rewards-redemption/statement-credit

The calendar year restriction means that you can use it twice in the upcoming months, 3x on or before Dec 31 and 3x again after Jan 1 or a total of up to $1200.

10% back on flights booked at BA.com using the code CHASEBA10.
The details are here: https://www.chase.com/personal/credit-cards/british-airways/rewards-redemption/save-10percent

Avios can be combined or moved between Iberia and Air Lingus accounts.
Chase also offers sign up bonuses on Air LIngus and Iberia co-branded airline credit cards. (As of August 2019's offers both are tiered 100K Avios offers) This allows big spenders that are under 5/24 to get up to 300K in sign up bonuses, plus combine points to book at BA.com for flights and get the fuel surcharge refund and 10% off.
See the BA forum and this thread in the Chase forum for Avios earnings strategies: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/chase-ultimate-rewards/1980400-anyone-else-racking-up-avios-points.html

Spending $30,000 will earn a Companion Fare "Travel Together" ticket.
Details are here: https://www.chase.com/personal/credit-cards/british-airways/travel-together/travel-together

Downgrades: Chase offers a no fee BA card. It's not available for new applications but can be accessed via a downgrade from the standard, $95 a year card. When the annual fee comes due you can downgrade/ product change to the British Airways rewards credit card with no annual fee and thereby preserve your card number, credit line and Average Age of Account. It's unclear whether the fee free card will get the new perks (August 2019) of an award fee rebate. Perhaps someone with the fee free card can make a dummy booking and update us here at FT.

Q. Can I apply for this card and earn the bonus after doing so previously? How long do I have to wait before reapplying? Should I call if my application is held for further review and not approved instantly?
A. See the wiki and related discussion in Applying for Chase Credit Cards, 2017 onward
Q. Once I meet the card's initial spending requirement, how soon will I receive my signup bonus points?
A. Bonus points typically accrue at the close of the billing period in which you incur the corresponding charges. Points should appear in your hotel/airline account within a few days thereafter.

NOTE: If you complete your required spending in the last 7-10 days of the statement period, the bonus may not post until the following month's statement, even if the regular per-dollar points post on the first statement. This is normal behavior for Chase and is not worth a phone call.

Well, guess it is to good not to give it a try, even if that means wasting a HP. From reading the threads, rule number one is Never Call even when instructed by Chase
Let us know how it goes, Carlitos. There are many of us in the same predicament.

When does this offer expire?

This is important to know if you want to get the companion cert.

If you complete the spend, you will receive 120,000 Avios or 6/$1 spent. On the final $10k spend this is still 3.5/$1 spent--which is not a bad return.

Worth a risk, but with all of the easier MS methods gone, it makes the most sense to me as there is no way I am spending $20k on that card, especially since they lowered the earning down to 1x point from 1.25x.

If you're MSing most of the spend, then there isn't much of an opportunity cost. I can't imagine many people will be hitting 20k via everyday spend. The redemption values for short-haul flights are really high, so I think plenty of people will a lot of value out of this offer.

Chase has denied me credit under their new rules very recently on UR cards, but I was approved for the BA card just like they used to approve people. I have 9 open chase cards, one of them being the BA card I was just approved for. They were happy to move around credit, but they opened the card with $2k new credit. ^

Maybe so, but I'd rather earn 25 points per dollar on the $2,000 spend for 50,000 points with the $95 annual fee waived the first year and submit a match request to them for the other 50,000 - which is what I have already done, but do not have a reply yet.

Question. If I do the $30k spend to get the companion ticket, is it only good on British Airway flights? Or would it also be good on the partner One World flights as well?

Only on BA, and the flights must originate in the USA.

http://www.britishairways.com/en-us/...ravel-together

All vouchers will be issued in the name of the main Cardmember who must travel on any booking where the voucher is used. The voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion and is only valid if it has been acquired in accordance with the rules of this promotion. The voucher is not extendable, transferable and has no cash or Avios value. Companion must travel with the Cardmember on both the outbound and inbound journey and be booked at the same time for both directions. Redemption Flights and vouchers may only be used for flights on British Airways mainline service, which have a BA prefixed flight number. Travel on franchise, codeshare or alliance airlines is not permitted. All travel must originate in and return to the US. Additional restrictions apply. See below for full terms and conditions.

T&C states the $30k spend for companion ticket must be in the same calendar year, whereas the bonus for $20k is the first 12 months of issuance.

Correct. You could spend $30,000 between now and 12.31.2015 -or- you could apply now, spend just $2,000, and defer additional spending until January -or- you could defer applying into early October, spend nothing until early January.

My wife applied as a homemaker and the application went pending. She has just one chase card open at this time. Is it ok to call recon or should she wait? She used my income and mentioned Housewife in the application. Anyone's spouse had this problem? She did get approved for Amex everyday earlier today and 2 other cards late last month.

I applied and was approved for the 50k card with first year's fee waived. I sent an SM to Chase about matching to the 100k offer and got it, but no mention that I would now have to pay the fee. Anyone know what happens in this case?

Last part of the message: "After you have exceeded $10,000 in purchases and $20,000 in purchases, please contact us at that time and we will add an additional 25,000 bonus Avios to the account. "

So I requested to be matched to the 100,000 point offer after purposefully applying for the 50,000 point offer since it had no annual fee. I probably will not even try to hit the $10,000 or $20,000 thresholds, but just in case something comes up I have the option.

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding this British
Airways credit card account.

We are pleased to confirm that we will honor your request
to receive the 100,000 bonus Avios enrollment incentive.
The qualification requirements of this offer are different
than those of the enrollment incentive associated with
this account.

The offer on this account includes:
-50,000 bonus Avios after the first $2,000 in purchases
within 3 months of approval

The 100,000 bonus Avios offer includes:
-50,000 bonus Avios after the first $2,000 in purchases
within 3 months of approval
-25,000 bonus Avios after $10,000 in purchases within the
first year
-25,000 bonus Avios after $20,000 in purchases within the
first year

By honoring your request for the 100,000 bonus Avios offer
you will still earn 50,000 bonus Avios after the first
$2,000 in purchases within 3 months of approval.

After you have exceeded $10,000 in purchases and $20,000
in purchases, please contact us at that time and we will
add an additional 25,000 bonus Avios to the account.

Please contact us anytime with questions or concerns. We
are here to help and are committed to providing you
excellent service.

Thank you for choosing Chase.
While slightly riskier, I think this is the better offer. No thanks to $95. I was hoping Chase would just give me the extra 50,000 which they have been known to do in the past, but it seems on both accounts I sent this message on that they are really on their game now.

Only good on BA metal, must originate in US, companion must fly identical itinerary (so there need to be two rewards seats in same cabin) and also has to be for round-trip which can make rewards bookings a little trickier since you have to wait until the inbound leg is available.

A lot of folks honestly don't find a lot of value in them but they work for me at least at the pre-devaluation BA rates. Need to crunch some numbers post devaluation. I have managed to use two companion tickets since 2013.
