If that's your approach, you should also try to remove the former KA assets from your pre 2020 vision of CX.

KA was a full service airline. You got the benefits of OW status while flying KA (lounge, etc...).
Its design to compete with LCCs was flawed, as any full-service airline with such status benefit cannot compete for dirt-cheap Y fares. And that is why it disappeared followed by the purchase of UO.
But it was clearly part of CX network before it disappeared.

My bad. I won’t deny Dragonair was ONCE a great airline. I am trying to say that in the past 7-10 years, especially after KA being rebranded as Cathay Dragon, the positioning of KA changed a lot and I will say CX was trying to significantly cut its cost level.

It was a decent airline but never more than that in the 40-50 times that I flew with them.

The cost base was lower than Cathey and it showed.

Their catering was a lot better than CX's (low bar, I realize) on common routes IMO.

HK Express is teasing new destination.
Seems like Clark

In Cantonese, Clark 克拉克 sounds like 黑拉黑 Black pull black. In the picture it is a black cat pulling the other black.

It depends on the UO flight; if there is a CX number, then yes. Else no.

Debatable and very doubtful I believe at least in my experience .........and of course the food for both KA and Cathay all came from Cathay Catering's kitchens, Different menus but a lower food budget for KA
However I have a colleague who would agree with you and I suspect because more Asian dishes on KAs menu as I recall.

factually incorrect. KA used LSG, not Cathay Catering

correct because the premium point to point buses to those two airports get stuck on traffic on the NLEX. Be aware some of them have a continuing destination either sctex exit 107 for Balanga or Baguio.
