Further to the report by Yannix, I have just arrived in HKG on the CX831 from JFK and was very pleased to be served the new 'trial' dining experience in J. Overall a great improvement in terms of quality of product and presentation. It was the first time for the cabin staff on the 4-Dec departure from JFK to serve the new menu.

I want to ask is Dragonair stop distributing Haagen Dazs to passengers that are upgraded to Business class (MPC Gold)?
In my recent two trips from HKG to XIY, I did not get the Haagen Dazs (used to get it in the previous free upgrades).
In my second last flight, no Haagen Dazs are distributed, I thought it was a seasonal factor.
However, in my last flight, I saw some received the ice cream but some did not.
In my recent two trips from HKG to XIY, I did not get the Haagen Dazs (used to get it in the previous free upgrades).

Seriously, CX is serving two full meals on extra long haul flights instead of one full meal and one breakfast? Nice! It is better to have breakfast at 2:00pm (CX892)/7:00 pm(CX872) before SFO arrival!
