If it is, CX.com doesn't know about it.

Finally the new lounge opens today Dec 1st!!
From Inside CX:
"The new First and Business Class Lounge in San Francisco opened its doors to passengers on Thursday, 1 December, becoming the first CX-branded lounge in the United States. The soft opening for selected passengers will test the lounge’s operational efficiency before its official opening later in the month.
The lounge is located alongside other airlines’ lounges on Level 4 of the International Terminal, after the security checkpoint. The design of the 520 sq m facility follows the design template employed in other outport lounges together with new design elements taken from the flagship lounges at HKIA, The Wing and The Cabin.
Among the iconic features included in the lounge is the Cathay Solus Chair – a purpose-built chair designed around the diverse needs of lounge guests. The chair has been very popular with passengers since being introduced in The Cabin when it opened in October 2010.
The SFO lounge follows the London Heathrow lounge in featuring a new standard of F&B offerings with a range of hot and cold dishes on offer. The signature Noodle Bar is another feature of the new lounge.
The lounge can seat 107 passengers and features include seven individual IT workstations with personal computers, wireless internet connection and three shower suites.
This is the second major lounge development within a month. The First and Business Class Lounge in Frankfurt reopened on 10 November following an extensive refurbishment."

I'm confused by the statement above. Since this has been described as a "soft opening" does this mean that the lounge is not currently available for ALL passengers?

I just took my wife to SFO. She is flying out 2 Dec @ 1am. The check-in agent said today is the first day of opening of the new lounge. The one last night was a trial only.
My wife called me later from the lounge. She said the lounge was bigger and much nicer with much better food. It seems that there are no separate F and J sections. She said there was no view though.

I am in the lounge now. As previous poster said, no separate F and J. Also sort of a lack of power outlets, though in the business section they are plentiful. Showers are nice. Little bit of a view. Just had some noodles, there are two options shrimp and pork wonton and spicy peanut (vegetarian). I had the won tons. Good. Very similar to HKG. Station manager is roaming around making ure everyone is OK. Nice guy.
