I quote from the T* article. "Romanow said passengers exited the plane on emergency chutes"..

If this is your source, sadly Romanow didn't say how many pasengers managed to exit.

New pictures show the fuselage intact and initial fire near the rear galley area... it appears the major fire may not have been on impact ^

New eyewitnesses lend credence to very good numbers of survivors...

BBC London is saying that more and more survivors are fleeing to the highway, (which has been closed)

Hopefully everyone has and or will get out alive

Expedia is showing the flight landed safely

Quote There is confusion as to where this flight came from, or where it was going. We have no idea if it came from Paris, Montreal or was even staying in Toronto... It may in fact be continuing on to Chicago EndQuote

CP24

We need to set up an advisory service of FTr's to help out in this situation and to answer questions with truthful answers.

On CP24 the talking head said something like "we don't know if the plane refueled somewhere else in Canada before landing here in Toronto".

MSNBC reporting two hospitals on code orange.

MSNBC says that Toronto General and William Oastler in Mississauga are on Code Orange to handle survivors.

Honestly, I'm glad the reports from CBS are positive, but they're not exactly the best source for news from Canada. Anything they're getting is recycled.

The local media have much better chance of getting the story first (if not always right).

Anyone see buses? I didn't, but I'm not watching the TV anymore.
