I would imagine that would be the case, said passenger clearly has a general food allergy.

Fair call. If I had her money I would pay for the VIP treatment. Sadly I have to settle for Common Gold!

Not much of a delay really at all for the rest of us and probably best all round she that she uses a car to pick her up, rather than go through the 'normal' channels.
I do wonder who would give a hoot, or even notice, if she went through 'normal' channels. It is curious that an airline would hold other F passengers while she was escorted off the aircraft. I've seen many better known people patiently waiting in line, but perhaps they're not paying for the VIP arrival service. And most are also able to smile.

Fair point. If you have the money to pay for extra services and all the bells and whistles that come with it, by all means go ahead. DYKWIA is all about people wanting those services without paying/being entitled to them not the people that actually do pay and actually are entitled

Indeed & they have been subjected to harm & kidnap threats and O'Dowd has accepted he misread the situation.

Let's move on to more deserving cases.

In Milan airport waiting for check-in to open when I noticed that three very expensive looking bags were stacked up right next to the check-in desk. Thought nothing of it until the very concerned looking agent called for the police to come and deal with them (she first asked everyone around if they were their bags).

~15 mins passed and a very large, and slight tetchy queue is starting to form. Still no sign of the police, so the agent goes hunting.

After 5 or so minutes she finds a lady who is off with an airport agent wrapping 10+ suitcases. Said lady walks her over to her bags, squares up to me, states that she is first in the queue, and that I will wait for her. I say "OK...", and then can't stop the giggles... important lady is less than impressed. A few minutes later the agent apologises to me, and says that as the woman had been there since early this morning the agent would deal with her first. I shrug, and start chatting with others in the queue.

Long story short, the queen of the queues has failed to sort out the necessary passes, so is moved off to one side anyway. She then turns up late to the gate, and screams at a staff member because the bus left without her. When she finally makes it to the plane, she does the walk of shame right into cattle class.

Utterly bizarre. I'll be honest, she looked like she could have bought and sold the airline, and certainly acted like it. God knows what she was doing in economy.

I smile inwardly to myself, every time I have to use T5 A10, when the DYKWIAs rush to be at the front of the queue for the bus
... who are therefore the last to get OFF the bus and up the steps.

But dont forget the people who are first to the bus, then realise the error of their ways and stand in the doorway while 80 people squeeze past them
