September 2021 update:
Suspensions of all remaining LGW short haul services further extended to 26 March 2022, with the exception of: one daily MAN-LGW-MAN rotation (BA2509/BA2508) and one daily GLA-LGW-GLA rotation (BA2511/BA2512)
Many LGW short haul routes will continue to operate from LHR in the meantime; exceptions are ALC/CGN/DBV/GOA, which have been suspended until 26th March 2022 ie these destinations will not operated by BA this Winter.

Is all looking a bit gloomy for Gatters until probably Spring 2021 at the earliest. The real ultra-low air travel weeks are November 1st (after the Autumn half-term) until about mid-December and then most of January and to mid February. Can't see BA operating any SH from LGW until mid-February half-term at the earliest now and even that will probably be dependent on there being any resemblance of a 2021 ski season.

No notification yet for my 11 Sep CTA-LGW. Flights zero-ed out for the past 2 days.
Let's see if it's a LHR switch, or cancellation ....
Edit: CTA moved to LHR, same times.

they canx all the LGW/FAO before loading LHR/FAO flights. So the rebooking was done on that basis and returned me a day earlier. All resolved now.
Clearly different teams working on cancelling and loading new schedules.

I suspect the latter. I’m waiting a few days for things to settle down before looking at MLA again ... and I suspect the ex-JER connections will be a right PITA, needing overnight hotel!

This might have something to do with the increased frequency:

Plans being revised here, depending on dates. Our accommodation looks straight across the harbour at the Convention Centre. 🙀

With regards to the 5:55am LHR-BOD flight, do you think it’s safe to book it? I know everything is changing and nothing is ‘safe’ these days but is it likely to be cancelled?
LHR don’t allow departures before 6am, so it will either suffer a time change or cancellation. As they haven’t adjusted the winter timetables yet, there’s even more chance it will be altered.
