RDU-CLT-JFK-BWI and permutations thereof is fairly wide open next year - a snip at £140 for 120TP if you’re over that way. And you get your pick from the AA on board snack basket.

Hoping to do a couple next April - all down to the elusive waiting game of whether BA will roll over my GGL…

As ever YMMV

Starting/ending in DCA was always cheaper than ending in BWI, just to let you know.
When there is a sale starting/ending in EWR or LGA is even cheaper. ( eg routing RDU-CLT-ORD-EWR/LGA )

Would someone mind confirming for me whether there's any issues with R-class internal J bookings on AA? (as part of a TP run from MAD to West Coast - the MIA-LAX leg)

I remember talk of R-Class in the past in relation to upgrade fares etc and I've forgotten if I should be worried about it.

R fare class is a revenue fare bucket, however, it's more expensive than I fare bucket.

You would get 40TP's for routes shorter than 2000 miles, 140TP's for routes between 2000-6000 miles and 160TP's for routes over 6000 miles when flying AA R.

Well, it's not like AY1674 is the only option, but I guess some want to be efficient in terms of time spent chasing TPs and do a TATL flight the next afternoon.

I've been playing around with Matrix and BA, and ITA Matrix tells me there's no flights any time I put HEL in.
BA was working but now has decided a 3h45 connection is >180 mins, but 4h5 is less than 180 minutes.

That was other airlines, wasn’t it? But not AJB fares or carriers.

Not just a TP run

Thanks for everyone's advice - I have now booked this for £1400 ish. Had to call BA and the agent was really helpful (but he did ask why I was doing this particular journey).

Nice run. Might see if it's possible to reduce the number of overnights.

Either it's me yet again, or ITA Matrix keeps changing flight orders when you change date.
i.e. SOF to HEL on the 4th July. I change 4th July to the 5th July, and that flight now becomes No2 with HEL-SFO as the 1st flight.
