List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Indeed. If you happen to be carrying around a full size fan, why not use it? Otherwise would be dumb..

BA Lounge(s) at LHR T3?

Any insider insights if the BA lounge(s) will be reopened in LHR T3 since it has been reopened?

Unlikely since I doubt there will be any BA flights in T3 for a while. I don’t think T5 is anywhere near capacity yet.

I find it slower to deboard this way. It it doesn’t bother me as much.
I think the best BA policy during COVID is that you get food and drinks brought to the table in lounges. Would be nice if that policy stayed

FWIW this fan literally weighs nothing. super easy to carry for the lounge or row 6 of CE on the A319 with NO VENTS.

The staffing required for that once back to full capacity/footfall would be prohibitive I suspect.

I'm sure the lounge covid service has been great. I've really only seen positives reviews on it here, about the table service.

But I too can't see that remaining, once things pick up, which they will at some stage.

It just would be costly, but more importantly, too slow once the lounges are packed again.

That what I like about BA lounges, the self serve, pre covid.

Table service has always existed, albeit only for certain items and in certain lounges, although even Galleries Club did have one delivery item........ bubbles.

There has been some table service before covid, in some BA lounges.

But the poster above was referring to the specific covid table service and whether that will remain or not.

I think not.

I would hope that it did, at least in Galleries First. One benefit of the table service is that everyone sits down, which makes for a calmer lounge experience all round, as you don't have people running all over the place getting drinks and food all the time. The staff do, but that is far less intrusive than other passengers.

Can't see table service working in Galleries Club, cause those lounges are always a total shitfight at the best of times, but I'd like to see it stay in Galleries First. I would also hazard a guess that the table service means less food waste. You probably don't have the issue of fat Rupert getting seven plates of food from the buffet, tasting a fork full of each and leaving them there when he hauls his bulk down to the gate. I can't see someone ordering too much food from the get go, but you never know. We shall see what happens I guess!

Agree that the current system, (covid table service) is great for lots of customers.

Its not for us though, we do prefer the self service in the first and club lounges.

But what will happen when numbers of customers pick up.

Im just not sure how BA will be able to give the same service , (timely and efficient) as it does now in covid times.

Be interesting to see how BA plays it though.

EDIT. To add

👍And yes, food waste is a big issue in buffets. No idea why some people do that.

I agree it happens but I always find the behaviour slightly odd; I have been known to be the guy who wants to try a couple of things on occasion, but it seems easy enough to just put a little 'sample' on the side of your plate when you're serving yourself. Or a dedicated plate if you must/sauce will run etc, but even then there's no obligation to pile it high...

Rumour - but very good authority - JFK lounges start to reopen in August. At least that’s the current plan.
