List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Anyone have any insight to the SFO lounge reopening? I was hopeful when I saw that SEA had reopened and that 286/287 are using the "direct from lounge" gates (which are the BA gates, of course) but it seems to still be closed.

Currently writing this from the Aspire Lounge at Belfast City Airport en-route to LHR (Ex BA Lounge)

Can confirm it is open and accepting BA Passengers even though the BA Website says it's closed !!

BA hasn’t contracted with any of the lounges. I believe they are all Priority Pass anyway, and you will not be missing much. I passed through Athens this morning. In hindsight, I should have sat at the Starbucks or food court.

There is no First class lounge in Athens at all... The Lufthansa one is the only decent and the Aegean is just ok. All the others are below average. If I am not mistaken, BA used to have a lounge in Athens many years ago.

BA currently does not contract any lounge at ATH.
If they don't make any agreements with contract lounges in the future, you would have no access based on your BA First ticket.

The OP is flying BA and BA passengers could not access the A3 or LH Lounges even with paying with cash/credit card at the gate
He might have access to some PriorityPass Lounges in the International Terminal if he has valid means to enter.

You're also right that BA used to have a lounge in ATH.

Perhaps slightly off topic but I didn’t want to start a new topic.. Given Boris’ announcement yesterday, will we see the end of compulsory mask wearing in the lounges (and indeed throughout Heathrow)? Or will BA continue to impose it to “reassure” customers?

In GF and the CCT, I really haven’t seen much mask wearing at all, irrespective of the rules. People are generally at a safe distance anyway, so I doubt that 19th Jul will make an enormous amount of difference. I was also at Wimbledon yesterday which was a mask free zone in the stands, even when the roof was closed.

yes so when sat down in the lounge generally you are allowed to take it off when eating or drinking anyway. I guess the question is will BA and HAL decide to require people to continue wearing them in all other situations whilst in the airport.

Currently in Galleries Lounge South at LHR - North was closed.

When I first arrived it was rammed and I had a job to get a seat. The Toilets are starting to look tatty and could do with a refurb.

Tried the 3 Euro Pies....

Welsh one with leeks was the worst.

Scottish one was okay and certainly twice the size of the other two.

English one had the best filling.

Solution increase the size of the English Pie and reduce that of the Scotch Pie.

Even more important treat them carefully all 3 were rock hard which prevented fork only consumption.

A postscript to my BHD visit earlier today - food selection- sausage roll, croissant,or pan aux choc. Not a sniff of bacon !!

We are flying to EDI next week and this will be my first flight since achieving Gold. Planning on heading to the airport straight from work, Is there any time limit for the lounges during the pandemic? I am never going to get to Gold again so I want to make the most of it.

At LHR, there isn't any time limit. You could go to the Galleries First as soon as the lounge opens in the morning on the same calendar day and stay until your flight.
AFAIK, the EDI Lounge is closed at this time.

Thanks for that. We are aware of the EDI situation and have given up hope of that being open by the time we fly.
