List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

I am glad to say that the Glasgow lounge has indeed reopened. The first BA flight out is at 06:55, there are 4 rows of club (I think that we have 2 seats free in that cabin) and there are about 15 guests in the lounge, so there are still a few status holders out there.
The food options include fruit salad, fruit, cereals and pastries (not fresh, individually wrapped).
Drinks: the wines are out and the spirits are behind the bar, the fridges are not self serve and have the soft drinks.
They have switched the central part between the coffee machines to a prep area where you ask for what you want from the biffet and someone will serve you. No table ordering or barcodes or hot breakfast

EDIN Lounge Open

As is the Edinburgh lounge - it is counter service so where we used to be able to help ourselves, both areas are roped off and staff will provide what you need. Unfortunately they have no kitchen as there is work getting done so the selection is limited - no sandwiches at lunch for instance. However I don't care - it is great to see the friendly faces and sit in a familiar lounge - feels like a bit of normality returning.

All Bar One was open, despite it being 0630 so I think other will follow - a definite buzz about the place, particularly from staff!

Note - the blue lines have gone from the terminal - the ones that tell you where to walk. There were there on Friday so I think this is another sign of ‘opening’.

What was lovely is the staff were being welcomed like long lost friends by lots of the regulars - very nice to see and shows what makes EDI lounge a little gem!

Thanks for posting, that's really cheered me up this morning!

I've never been to EDI, but I think we will go in a couple weeks for a flying trip after reading your post!

Thanks for posting! That discarded blue mask in a picture of what looks like a near-empty terminal is a real metaphor for our times...

Yes - that was not intentional in that photo - I only saw the mask after I took the photo. And actually I was lucky with the placement of people - the terminal was busier than that photo suggested but not ‘packed’!

As it is my home airport, I am a little biased but I can highly recommend it for ease of use, views and the lounges are nice. I recommend going there before the crowds come back properly - it can be a bit of a nightmare when it is at a capacity but they have done a good job with the stores there. However, don’t get me started not the ‘new exit’ which looks like you are going down a fire exit - not their finest hour removing the nice escalator and making you go down two flights of stairs!!!

BA First Lounge very busy this morning - a little change in that there is some self-help snacks now available - crisps, muffins and a satsuma. Everyone still wearing masks on the lounge (when not eating) and around the airport. White champagne seems to have changed to Nicolas Feuillatte - Reserve Exclusive Brut. The champagne bar seems to have been set up as a bar - it just had water in there last time I was in here.

Lots of empty tables down that end of things - I was the only person there for ~90 minutes this morning. It was like an obstacle course when I left to go to the gate

The Grab and Go area with muffins, crisps and fruit was there at the end of May when I last went through, so it's not a new thing - just not very well publicised!

The staff do, but that is far less intrusive than other passengers.

.
I, for one, hope that it doesn't.

I much prefer being able to view, choose and help myself to selections and portions that appeal to me, without having to wait and take pot luck as to what will actually arrive.

I don't mind clubs that buzz, so having people moving around isn't a problem, and I'm not fat or someone that leaves huge amounts on their plate.

But, each to their own. I try and avoid lounges that only have table/bar service, whenever there's a half decent alternative.

I prefer the old way too, but I do think they did extremely well coming up with a table service solution due to covid. I'd like to see some aspects of the online ordering remain, for the items in the Flounge that you had to order off the menu previously (e.g. the burger). We don't have as much choice now, we used to have an extensive buffet plus the to order options in the flounge.

I only discovered it because I saw someone with a bag of crisps and asked a member of staff how I could get one too! I assume most people didn't/don't know about it because the app ordering system means people aren't wandering about as much...

Is GF in LHR T5 still table service, and have they changed the menu since earlier this month / last month?

The muffins, from an earlier post, were there a couple of weeks ago when I was last through.

Still table service - they have not changed breakfast menu - will let you know when lunch comes on the menu!
