List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

however, if they are going to continue selling CE at 9, 10, 12 rows and all the shortages of catering, choice of meals of drinks, then i'd certainly think they should pony up.

Is the scotch egg thing serious or just a joke?
Also is there any news on the club lounge closing early and using the first lounge instead? Think I read up thread this used to be the case. I have a 2030 flight coming up soon.

Mentioned in the JER-LHR thread that apparently BA have stopped paying for the lounge there?

This used to be a proper Terraces lounge but has since been refurbished. However it is still unmistakeably BA branded and the staff wear the uniform (the handling agent who operate the lounge deal almost exclusively with BA in JER).

I hope just a temporary thing to see them through the dark times... But I'll not hold my breath.

Gothenburg has 2 BA flights per day, and the last couple I was on (GOT-LHR), admittedly in four weeks ago, CE was full in both. But both Fast Track and the Lounge were off limits to BA passengers

Does anyone know what the current situation is at JFK, T7? I'm guessing both the lounges are still closed?

I completely agree.

I didn’t blame BA during the lockdowns and to be honest I don’t blame them now for destinations which require quarantine. But for places like GIB etc there’s no excuse and it’s a poor show. The flights are full and people are paying for CE so they should pay for the lounge.

Basically inbound CE now has no fast track, no lounge, no priority boarding and a boxed meal...

There is a lounge, open, in T5 close to gate 1. Look for a set of round stairs around a lift and head up them. That said, inside wasn’t spectacular last month. There was a coffee machine, draught beer, white wine and pasta.

If you find yourself at the airport really early get off at T1 and walk over to T5 (it’s all inside). It’s a sight to behold; the terminals are completely empty and there is no one there!

You must mean T2 given that ARN does not have a T1

I used to be based at ARN so I know it quite well. Was just wondering if as a BA pax I have any lounge at all given the current situation. Thanks for your help.

Oh, not good to hear this! Since when did BA stop paying for lounge access in GIB? Thank you

BA does not have fixed size Club cabins on shorthaul, and flexes by moving the curtain as required. Therefore there isn’t really a concept of ‘full’ for CE. If the curtain is behind row 1 and there are 4 pax, it’s ‘full’, but if the curtain is at row 12 and the same 4 pax are onboard, it’s far from ‘full’.

If the CE cabin is the maximum size and all seats are occupied, that would be 'full' I guess.

Mind you most people don't spend more than an hour in GIB (unless delayed :-) )

Does anyone know what London’s likely move to tier 3 means for the lounge? Is there an airside exemption like last time?
