List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

That is exactly what used to happen, you can actually watch the exercise from inside the airport and on the usual aircraft tracker sites (since the AA lounge don't have views in that direction), see the thread below. The lovely AA lounge staff there would regularly call their chums around the airport to track what was going on since it was an interesting daily ritual for them. It's all ultra hypothetical at the moment, but I think the AA lounge will contine to be the BA lounge, without double security. The only current service are the BA codeshares, and they of course do have AA lounge access.

Pre-COVID, the BA gate ( gate B11 ), and the C concourse were connected airside. Now there is a construction going on at BNA which required the BA concourse and the AA concourse to be split with no airside connection. Pre-COVID the BA flight never operated from the C or D concourses which is currently the only concourses linked to AA Admirals Club.

By the way, for the moment, yes, only BA codeshares are operating from BNA.

North is already open, South is expected to reopen next week. The complication there will relate to the various announcements later today on the proposed replacement to Lockdown 2.0, proposals which is subject to a parliamentary vote, and possibly London's tier level will have something to do with it.

If South opens then the First Wing will open, which will mean CCT reopens. Not that there is much difference between CCT and First really.

That comment about south reopening next week sounds rather ominous. I suppose I will have to wait and see after the announcements this evening/afternoon.

I'm guessing the lounges will reopen to their previous level of service once the blanket ban on leisure travel is lifted, subject to the interpretation of "dining" rules in the lockdown tiers affecting Hounslow.

Even in the most stringent (Tier 3) restaurants could open, as long as significant meals were served. It'd be hard to argue that the BA lounges don't qualify.

agreed.

however, i think the problem is we do not appear to be going back to exactly the tier system we had pre lockdown tho and they are going to to be tweaked. so it does depends on what the restrictions are in the new tiers and which tier applies for LHR.

True, and whether airside exceptions exist (as in this lockdown).

The lists I've seen suggest they'll be fine to reopen, assuming we're tier 2. Tier 3 is likely to be takeaway only (but allowed to be open without the need for exemptions) so more like the current offering.

Does anyone know if drinks from the bar in GC North are in plastic cups due to take away only or can I have the luxury of a glass?

My crystal ball says Summer season 2021, which is 28 March, but other spherical objects may give different results.
