List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

AA removed the free premium drink privilege for international Business/First Class passengers and for non-AA oneworld elites since the pandemic started so your BA boarding pass would not unlock anything alcoholic other than the house beer and the house wine options.

Thanks (I think! 😀 ) not a fan of the AA house options. Here’s hoping that BA have a few cans of Tribute aboard the aircraft.

I was in Galleries north today, and it was actually quite good. Appreciate what BA has done in difficult situation. Bar service. Sandwich bar and crisps - salted and cheese/onion and some soup. Another bar serving coffee tea etc.
The champagne was not champagne, some fizzy wine. I overheard a lady at the bar asking for champagne and being told it wasn’t champagne but a sparking wine. I didn’t have it. Had a Tanqueray and tonic. Tables separated by distance and plastic screens. Tables had a QR code on them to scan, but I’m not sure if that did anything.
Quite busy at 12.30pm today.
However I have never seen LHR T5 so quiet in my whole time using it over the years. I went to the First check in and the staff were very excited to have someone check in. Apparently I was their third person since 9am that morning. I was the only person in F on my flight BA209 to Miami today. Awesome crew. Brilliant. Well Done’s sent.

The sandwich/soup bar

The sandwiches, which were quite nice.

I passed through last week. The Admirals club was the only semi busy portion of T4 or TBIT and due to current covid levels in California no food was available. In the 2 hours prior to the BA flight the only place serving food that was open in either terminal was Starbucks. Beyond that a few newsstand stores were open.

Good to know about the food situation. I’ll be driving up from San Diego, so after the drive, dropping off the rental car, shuttle transfer and checking in, I’ll need something to eat and I’d hate to rely on BAs COVID catering onboard.

Border Grill, Panda Express, and Vino Volo should be open at TBIT before the BA flights depart.

according to the crew member working in First, there were 40 on board. There was 2 passengers in the forward J cabin, I don’t think many in the rear one. I would say half a dozen in WTP (using a rough judgement on the EF seat map the day before) and the rest in Y.

Hello, does anyone know if showers are currently available in the North Galleries club lounge?
(it says "limited services").

I've just completed an extensive update to the wiki.

Many more third party lounges are now open and accessible to BA passengers.

Amongst oneworld lounges, availability is still patchy outside of the US, but there have been some changes in recent weeks.

Thanks for doing this. As the Chicago O’Hare airside terminal transfer bus is out of action, I removed the T3 Admirals Club from our list

Did the same drive over the weekend. Suggest pit-stopping in Santa Monica, grabbing a Wexler’s Deli sandwich or Sugarfish and enjoying that in the AA lounge. The Flagship seating was open if you turn right, right and right again within the main lounge area - the Mrs & I were the only people in the space for the entire time.

I don't know who changed the WIKI but I could verify that the QR Al Mourjan Lounge in DOH is currently accepting oneworld Sapphire/Emerald ( BAEC Silver/Gold/GGL/Premier ) members traveling on Y despite the operating oneworld carrier so I'll be re-modifying it. Passengers are able to choose between the Oryx Lounge and the Al Mourjan at their own discretion.

Also, unfortunately I have verified that the BNA AA Admirals Club access needs double-security for BA passengers ( when BA starts to re-operate ) so I have removed it from the list.

My understanding is that BA will operate from gates that don't require re-clearing security after visiting the Admirals Club.

Unfortunately, the AA gates in Terminal C could not handle international arrivals.
However, the aircraft could be towed after cleared by the CBP to Terminal C but it's highly unlikely as there are no airport-operated gates at Terminal C. Maybe they could use Alaska and American gates at Terminal C but I am not sure if they could handle a 787.

If there is a change that I don't know, it is not mentioned on the official airport website and the BA website does not indicate any terminal.
