So at least a move in the right direction by BA. What about the 25% tier point reduction. Am I correct in thinking that they haven't officially extended this beyond June 2022 - in which case, what about those that are already showing the 25% reduction to Sept 2022 (or at least it was showing).

Correct, the initial qualification for GGL has not changed. TPs for first time qualification is still 5000 with subsequent renewals at 3000 (subject of course to any temporary/discretionary %age reduction).
I suspect this has become possible by the significant reduction in First seats across the schedule.

Numbers would dwindle over time with the F reduction, so capacity should be there to handle any increase.

Well at the moment, even those with July 2022 resets haven't had confirmation of reduced thresholds in the 2022/2023 cycle, although many have reported the reduced thresholds are showing in the app.

At this time the 25% reduction only applies until June 2022. This may or may not be extended.

Exactly, although those with July, August and Sept 2022 resets are reporting that the 25% reduction is still showing in the app for their current year. I find it odd that they didn't seek to clarify this as part of the same announcement, given their implying that it has been extended.

Or are you interpreting the current policy as meaning that this reduced thresholds applies to any year that starts up until June 2022. I interpreted it to mean that the reduced thresholds only applies to year-ends up until June 2022.

But those with a year-end beyond June 2022 are already showing the reduced tier point targets in the apps. They (Jul-Sep 2021) have already started the year that ends beyond Jun 22.
