Yeah, last time I spoke to them they said there were only a handful left, which makes sense.

I'm about to get to my second cutoff.

Edit - Blech, there it goes again.

Yeah, closes at 18:00. Open again at 09:00 tomorrow and that's it.

Tense.

I don't understand the 60 minute cutoff - why on earth would any company choose to do that ?

Managed to get in after 40 mins. All booked thank goodness. A simple a380 to FRA used up. Agreed that the mornings were best times to get in. Got through last week in about 1 minute.

In the queue... connection is terrible though!

Edit - Ugh, already 20+ minutes in. Not looking promising given I called within seconds of them opening the lines.

Now 40+ mins.

I managed to get through on my second attempt today. The agent confirmed they will be open tomorrow due to the voucher expiry date.

Used my remaining 2 Lloyds Upgrade Vouchers this week (lost count of how many covid cancelled flights they had been used on) but NYC in May has a ton of availability from domestic connections.
Weirdly my seats are in Economy on the first leg NCL-LHR then Club World/Europe on all remaining legs LHR-JFK, JFK-LHR, LHR-NCL.

I got through yesterday after about 35 mins on hold, not surprising given that the deadline is today. I booked LHR-SFO / JFK-LHR for next September, to see some concerts. It's a long way off but something to look forward to, and good use of the upgrade voucher. End of an era though, I will for sure miss these vouchers!

Good luck to everyone else getting through and using their vouchers today.

Two cutoffs ... and counting

Called at 11am - cut off at 11.59am

Called at Midday - cut off at 12.59

Trying again ...

And I'm just using it for a single LHR-DUB !

I think they'd probably find it easier to do that than potentially have to deal with people trying to claim against them because they couldn't use the voucher on its final day of validity.

Been trying all day and always cut off at 1 hour.... this is not looking good.

To help speed it up if I do get through, can anyone help with a couple of questions:
- Can the flights start from Europe with LHR connection? Or do they need to be ex-UK? Looking at BER-LHR-GRU.
- Does Avios charge YQ on GRU/GIG departures these days? I remember this being dropped before, but I think BA charge it.
