Just did mine. No drama, longest part was waiting for the agent to appear in the first place.

Have just rung Avios to extend my voucher. Phone call answered very quickly and voucher very easily extended until 31st October 2021. I asked if that meant travel before the 31st October 2021, but was advised that it meant that I needed to book before the 3st October. So, I can book on the 31st October 2021 for a flight 355 days in advance if I so wish. Very happy with that.

Yep, I've always liked that feature of the Lloyds vouchers - wish it was the case for the BA Amex 241s too!

Mine was extended yesterday to end of October - and a helpful agent ensured the Avios and cash from my cancelled booking were returned almost instantly.

Has anyone reported any further extensions beyond October 2021?

Seems unlikely as that’s 3+ months yet, and hopefully the return to some sort of normal continues. From memory these are book by not fly by dates.

When I last spoke to Avios about a month ago, they told me 31 Oct was the 'last extension' (but who knows if that was just the agent's speculation!). I ended up using mine for short haul in the end.. shame, but just wanted rid of it now!

Yep I'll probably try and book something well in the future (at least that's an option with the Lloyd's vouchers) but would be nicer to have even longer!

I reckon with the US opening again soon that it might be time to start looking for ways to use the voucher. Can't seem them extending it again.

Has anyone had any success using an alternative approach to extending a Lloyds Avios voucher? e.g. Using the FTV route that 'BA Amex 2-4-1 voucher' holders have been using? (With just a few days left until the October 31st deadline, seems like we need to get a plan in place...)

I don't think they've ever offered them for these vouchers. As they're 'book by' rather than 'travel by' I'm just planning something for after Easter next year, hopefully things should be OK then.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get a free UK domestic flight when using the Lloyds voucher and starting outside the UK. I wanted to fly GIG-LHR-EDI and open jaw return INV-LHR-CPT but the agent said the flight didn't qualify for a free domestic as it started outside the UK. Long haul flights booked on BAEC with Avios do get a free UK domestic even when the starting point is outside the UK so it's a bit odd that the Avios.com agent wouldn't do it. Has anyone been able to book something like this?
