QF is definitely the best for cocktails/G&T. CX is best for food. Maybe have breakfast first, then join for drinks? I'm keen to try the food in the QF lounge & get some pictures.

My experience is they close around midnight and open in the morning. The manned desks are also closed probably around 12.30 and open around 3-4am. There were definitely several hours overnight where immigration was closed so you were stuck in whoever side you happened to be in.

Mr Ilovebeachclub will be there around 2pm. Not sure which lounge he's heading for just yet.
